Its not uncommon. Mercedes now use plastic water pumps on some models. The thing is why are they failing? Is the plastic part failing or another part?

Its possible in my opinion, that by banning the supply of new petrol cars that the depreciation of the ones on the road already will be slower. Its only the sale of new cars that is planned to be banned in 2030.

My 2010 golf dq200 performs well and I have not experienced hesitation or slow changing. I cant comment on reliability as have only covered 5000 miles with it.

Possibly because most leases are for 3 years and it keeps the overall ownership cost down?
