  1. Not had it changed yet - soon hopefully!
  2. Thanks for this! I have a 2018 2.0d DSG Sportline from new and I first noticed this noise after around 6 months in 2019 - but left it until first service to mention to dealer. If Id known what to to do at the time I would have rejected the car. Basically I was then forever in and out of the dealership - only to get a final diagnosis of 'characteristic'. Trouble is, once you hear the noise - you cant miss it and it can drive you mad. I tried an alternative dealer for a second opinion - then COVID lockdown came along and everything just got difficult. I have kept my sanity by taking out all in service packages so I have maintained vw warranty - and noise is still the same at 55k. But thanks to the info here I am going to change the gearbox mount - worth a try. Will post an update afterwards.
  3. This error message has happen to me twice in the last 5 years (far enough apart that I forgot how I cleared it the first timeπŸ˜‚) Anyway, I used an OBD eleven device to read and clear fault codes. Error cleared and been fine for 5 months + now (touch wood). Hope that helps.
  4. Just had first MOT on my Kodiaq and rear disc pitting was recorded as an advisory. I was surprised and have had a closer look since. As you can see on the photos, there are large area of the disc outers where the pads are not shifting the rust and pitting has built up. Nearside was worse than o/s. I cant photo the inner faces but they wearing as normal. I guess I'm too light on the brakes - not to mention the limited mileage and short journeys during COVID lockdown. Car has done 25500 miles - 5500 in last year. Its due for a service now so I'm looking forward to an argument with the de aler who will no doubt want to change them!
