  1. It's time for new front disc's and pads on my combi 280. I have read alot of positive stories on fitting clubsport disc's and pads. Just priced them up and they are a whopping £570. On the autodoc website I can get vented brembo or ATE disc's and pads for about £300 or cheaper. I hope to get a remap soon, but just wondering peoples thoughts on whether the clubsport setup is worthy of paying double?
  2. No, the garage Celtic advised would quote haven't been in touch yet. Will give them to mid week and try contacting.
  3. Yes defo seems low. I contacted celtic tuning who have an authorized garage in Perth. Not had a quote back yet. Is it Similiar with Revo, that they have authorized garages to install their maps.
  4. Has anyone had experience of Dragon Remapping based in Perth Scotland? Got a quote and some figures for my 272bhp. Not sure the figures are the best but still huge gains. 338bhp and 310lb/ft. Thought the torque was a bit low?
  5. Well some good posts here, which confirm a fewthings for me. I'm not alone in my issue. Some are expecting sports car handling when really its a big comfy saloon with a cracking engine. Some people probably don't drive it that way as that's not what they bought the car for. The only. Way forward is to compare what solutions people have tried and get their opinions. Really enjoyed reading though. I might also try and upload the link to the section of road near me. 50-60mph and the undulating surface causes the front end to bang like I have drove over a pothole.
  6. Yes, mine are 19". Undertheradar- exactly my issue. I drive my wife's mini Cooper and you would think it's a different road. Number of times I have pulled over to check the front splitter or my alloys as I thought something had been thumped. I will search forum for aftermarket options.
  7. My car is super comfortable and grips the road brilliantly. My point is regarding change of direction and uneven, undulating roads which bottom the car out and turn it into a pogo stick
  8. It's going back gain on Wednesday I will ask the question. I asked. Last year At a Different Dealer. I was told last week it's not a sports car and I'm expecting too much. Might be true.
  9. Drove this car on test drive but did not have the chance to push it on challenging roads
  10. Glad to hear I'm not missing out on anything. Lol. I might see what options are, I would like a remap but would 100% not be doing this until I had a vast improvement in the suspension.
  11. Honestly the worst setup of any car I have owned in 23 years. I have a superb estate 4x4 280 without adaptive suspension. The car bottoms out and throws you all over the place as soon as you ask it to react to more than one upset. I have had two services done and keep asking them to check they haven't left bump stops in or the dampers are broke. How could they get it so wrong. It's going to be the reason it goes. Or I go the replacement route.
  12. Trust me the car brakes. I have been thrown forward many times when driving at speed and going for an overtake. Misjudged how fast I'm gaining and it has given the red sign of brick wall braking. Also reversing during tight Manouveres it has emergency stopped as I try to a quick turn. I think you get maybe 1-2 seconds to react to the audible alarm and red warning or it steps in
