  1. Sir, I cannot thank you enough for all your help, it is definitely a job I would not want to do for a long time.
  2. Thank you for your assistance. Very much appreciated.
  3. My car hast the 3 cylinder 12v 1.2 engine. P1006 is the code from the code reader old code. https://www.carobdcodes.com/skoda-p0016-crankshaftcamshaft-correlation-error-bank-1-sensor-1.shtml
  4. Hi everyone I get a recurring error code p1006. After the warning light came on I had it scanned and got this code. I have fitted a new camshaft position sensor and also as part of a major service had new plugs and ignition coils. The error clears but soon recurs, I've since found out that it can also refer to the crankshaft position sensor too. Another symptom is the mpg display showing nonsense. Does this point to the crankshaft sensor being faulty? ,also does anyone know the location of this senor as the Haynes manual is clear as mud about this. Thanks in advance
  5. Thank you for getting back to me. I have changed the cable in a similar way to how you have done, it seems to be slack now with what looks like an extra grommet half way along its length. I was after visual access to see what is going on. Under the bonnet it's back in all the clips and works if I pull the cable tight next to the lever. Did you have a similar issue when changing yours?
  6. Hi everyone. I am having issues changing the bonnet release cable. If I was to remove the passenger airbag unit would it give access to where the cable runs through the bulkhead? Thanks in advance.
  7. The car is a 2013 1.2 3 cylinder. It was last regarded around 2 years ago, the cooling performance varies, it is a manual system. It's only noisy when operating,. Hope this information is helpful.
  8. Hello everyone. My air conditioning makes whining noises when running. Not all the time. Is it time for a new compressor or could it be just low coolant. Thanks in advance.
  9. I recently bought one of these and it is brilliant. Plug into the cd changer port, earth black lead to radio chassis and pair with device. You can even transfer over the aux port wires and keep it in use. Comes with English instructions too. Sound is crystal clear, beats any of the cigar lighter units.
