6 speed retrofit
I will soon be looking into getting the hybrid turbo upgrade for my CJZC (1.2 TSI 90PS) On the motorway in 5th gear, revs are a bit high at anything above 60. The 110 PS variant of my engine comes with a 6 speed. From my understanding, both engines are indentical, what would be involved in retrofitting a 6 speed box? Is it just finding the appropriate bolts and box then coding the changes in via VCDS? Thanks

I need Bolero Update :-)
Hi, does anyone know if the updates would fix some bugs with sound being delayed or sometimes very long startups? My details; PN: 5Q0035842A SW Version: 0245 Hardware Version: H24 Am I right in thinking the SD card only needs to be FAT32 formatted?

Turbo Swap Choices for EA211 1.2 TSI
Thanks for this, I really appreciate the update got a few more questions. Is there any info on when the turbo kit will be available for purchase? Is reliability good all around, any weirdness when idle or cold starts? Do you have an intake upgrade, if so does it make noticeably nicer noises? Finally, if possible could you do a 0-62 run or a quick video (I completely understand if you aren't comfortable doing this) I ask all these questions as I plan to go for this kit a few months down the line, just got my self insured with a known good insurer for modified cars in preparation for this.

Creaking clutch pedal
The clutch pedal didn't get replaced as it ended up not being the problem, the master cylinder was. Unfortunately, the master cylinder is still plastic but it seems like preventative maintenance will stop it making noise if it is kept lubricated with grease that won't dry (that's how mine went bad, thanks Skoda!)

Blower only working on setting 4
If you haven't already done this, super easy to do. Pull the glovebox down and have a look for the resistor, turn the resister anti-clockwise slightly and it will pop out of place. Replace the resister, give the fan a test and do the reverse to put everything back in place.

Creaking clutch pedal
I had this done under a month ago and it was the fix. I got this done at a local garage (not a stealership) with the newer revised OEM part, £183 for parts and labour. Skoda themselves was going to take 2 weeks just to supply the part for a premium, trade supplier had one in stock and was cheaper.

Turbo Swap Choices for EA211 1.2 TSI
@FabiaGonzales What would be your final verdict on this whole process? I've read pretty much all the thread. Is it worth getting a large 1.4 Turbo (there seems to be issues mapping them) or should you just stick with a Stage 1 map. If you want more power, is the only real option to go hybrid turbo or the smaller 1.4 turbo and switch some parts?. How much was your hybrid setup all in?

Misfire at idle 1.2 TSI (CJZC)
@krigl at first I thought it could be that, it noticeably adds to these counts when idle which is the worrying part. it is also getting progressively worse/lasting longer when cold starting.

Misfire at idle 1.2 TSI (CJZC)
@TerFar Oil level is perfect for being serviced 2k miles ago, no noticeable drop. colour seems good though didn't check the viscosity to see if it was watered down by fuel. On that subject, coolant level has been solid since I got the car just over a year ago.

Misfire at idle 1.2 TSI (CJZC)
@e-Roottoot Amazingly, the online service history (that's all I ever had access to) doesn't specify what was done - just the mileage and that it was a service, I assume just oil + filter + excessive labour costs I have looked at the Air filter, this doesn't look the worst I have seen though I'm unsure how sensitive petrol engines are to this (Have always had diesel prior) I removed the spark plugs and there is a small amount of build up, I wouldn't say anything particularly noticeable. Air filter and plugs are my first plan, Is there anything else that commonly happens? Thanks!

Misfire at idle 1.2 TSI (CJZC)
Hi All, Ever since I bought this car I have noticed for a while after starting that there is a somewhat lumpy idle. Some days it continues to be lumpy even after a long drive when you return to idle, and even worse sometimes when pulling away the car is a bit jerky. I have tried running VPower for a couple of refills and tried resetting fuel trim adaption with no avail. Only today did I decide to monitor the car on startup and noticed via OBDEleven that all cylinders are logging misfires (you can feel it happen when it does!) It doesn't seem to misfire enough to trigger any codes which has me stumped. Does anyone know of common problems with these engines, I am about to start throwing parts at the engine but would prefer not to waste money. Finally, it just reached 30,000 miles and was serviced regularly by a Skoda dealership - the car is a mid 2016 model. (Screenshot attached from OBDEleven that was taken just after I disconnected)
