  1. Hi folks….so upon checking videos you YT my flywheel was on its way out.. sounded like marbles in a case sound. Now it’s when I turn the car I can here jt.. Had some quotes so far.. ranging from £888 to £1,100. new LUK flywheel ( dual mass ) and new bolts are £267 online. some of the quotes from garages are wanting £400 or more for the part! when I ask them if I can bring my parts they say yeah but you won’t get a warranty! robbing gets!!! car is on 92k so I’m wondering about the dsg clutch pack? Is there a way to see how my clutch pack is getting on? im hearing these wet clutches last a long time! also if anybody has a recommended garage near Wirral or Cheshire? kind help is appreciated! thank you so much. 2009 Skoda superb dsg
  2. Noooo don’t be put off!!! They drive great! im sure I will sort it out! car is on 92k so coukd be the flywheel or clutch pack. these it’s probably around this mileage things happen I guess!!!
  3. Yeah I will do at some point when I can.. im tempted to buy a 3 vin vcds and run some tests. unless anybody wants some beer tokens to run a few scans etc. Thanks for the reply 😀😀

  5. Hi folks. Issue is on a 2009 Skoda superb tdi. so…when car has warmed up changing from 3rd to 2nd the car jerks ( jolt ) This is when I just coast and let the car brake on its own and downshift. doesn’t do it if I brake hard tho which is strange. When I travel over bumps there is a knocking sound too ( could this be connected? I noticed a leak on the floor right down by the front drivers side mudflap ( coming off bumper ) I thought it was diesel as the top of the filter could be leaking. or if it was transmission fluid.I’m sure there was brown fluid but that could of been dirt on the road mixed. im wondering a couple of things.. 1.driveshaft seal? 2.dogbone mount? 3. Or a dsg fault :-( any help is appreciated at this time. steve just putting the feelers out there heifer I take it to a garage.
