  1. These are what I bought:- https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B09GFP4VRT/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 It was trial and error for me, but eventually found these, which provide enough clearance to close the cover over the USB ports.
  2. Without being rude, if you'd read the link you posted, you'd see that it doesn't actually define how long the period is. I don't know the answer, but it's perfectly reasonable to ask the question in the hope that someone might be able to answer from practical experience.
  3. i hope you enjoy it after such a long wait, but I'm certain you will. Perhaps you could post a photo of your new pride and joy for us to enjoy.

Just checked my facelifted Karoq and there most certainly is an engine cover fitted.
  5. Blimey, it must be mucky round your way. I haven't had to refill my washer bottle yet. 😂😂 It did prompt me to go and look though, and you're right. It's quite floppy, but it does seem to be a tight fit when pushed back on. Interesting.

I requested pre-delivery that the wheel inserts not be fitted to mine. It cost me around £80 for the wheel bolt caps and centre inserts, and I prefer the wheels this way, but each to their own. We all have different tastes.

As I understand it, when the key has been motionless for 15 minutes, it ceases transmitting. I tested this on my previous 2019 Karoq, and found that to be the case.
  8. It definitely feels more comfortable to me too, also quieter and smoother. I didn't go for the virtual cockpit, though I had one on the Passat I had before my Karoq SEL, and I did like it, but I didn't feel I could justify the extra cost of that over and above the other options I went for. I think it's a really nice car, and I'm glad I went for the Sportline at only a small additional cost over the SEL I'd configured with various options. I'm dying for darker evenings to try out the LED matrix headlights.
  9. Very nice both! Did you opt for no aerodynamic wheel covers as I did? What tyres are fitted? Mine are Michelin Primacy 3 and it looks like yours are too from the photo.
  10. Congratulations! If you're only half as pleased as I am, that will still be quite something.
  11. Thanks for the speedy reply, and I can cope with that.
  12. I've had my facelifted Sportline a couple of days now, and since I have yet to drive it in the dark, I have a query regarding the LED Matrix headlights. I know how to activate the Auto Light Assist (light switch to Auto, push lighting stalk forward, and the headlight symbol with "A" appears on instrument panel). What I want to know is whether the car remembers this setting when the ignition is off, or does it have to be reset every time the car is started. I hope someone can help with the answer.
  13. Trust me, it definitely has the heated windscreen. If not, there's a redundant switch on the climate control panel.
  14. Thanks. I'll try again tomorrow and report back, if I still have my head! 😄
  15. Well, I picked up my new Sportline today, and I'm very pleased overall. Some differences to get to grips with, most notably the revised sat nav, and storing destinations. I was expecting the "virtual pedal" for the boot opening, but I can't seem to make it work, so I'm not sure if it's included, though it should be according to the spec. I was hoping the 8 inch instrument display would have been included, but it hasn't, perhaps because this is an early build. I'll check with the dealer and report back. Overall though, very pleased, and happy to report that the heated windscreen is the copper-conductive type, so no filaments.
  16. It's actually a Sportline I've ordered. My current car is the SEL. 😂
  17. I can't believe how quickly they've rolled them out. I suspect delivery times might become more elongated as the facelifted model becomes more established. Good luck with yours.
  18. Exciting news. I just had a call from my dealership to say my car is being delivered to them today. I've arranged handover for next Wednesday afternoon. In the meantime, I'm trying to haggle some adjustment to my part exchange valuation, given the accelerated delivery time of the new car. That's pretty rapid delivery time in the current climate, given that I ordered on 23rd of Feb. Can't wait!
  19. Exciting news! I've just received a message from my dealer to tell me that my car has been built and is in transit from the factory. I should be able to collect it at the end of this month, or early May. Ordered on February 23rd, Build Week 15 (W/C 11th April - this very week), so incredibly quick!
  20. I replaced the original Bridgestones at the front with CrossClimate SUVs (215/50 R18 92W) in January 2021 after 13800 miles. I've been very impressed with them. They do seem quieter, and they've eliminated the occasional front wheel spin I used to experience with the Bridgestones. Most impressively, after 14000 miles, they look good for at least another 14000 miles. I've just ordered a new Sportline and, sadly, I don't think I could justify to my wife immediately replacing the tyres with CrossClimates, but I would certainly do it if I could.
  21. I've just received a reply, and it's good news! They said, "I raised this with my Brand Support Team and they have confirmed that while the pre-facelift ŠKODA KAROQ did use wiring for the heated windscreen, the new facelift version uses ClimaCoat foil technology."
  22. I've received a reply saying "I have raised your query with my Brand Support Team and I hope to get an answer soon. I will chase them in a couple of days but it may take longer to get a definitive answer." So, no real news yet.
  23. I've just sent an email myself. If you send one too, it would be interesting to compare replies. Hopefully, they'll be the same and will give the answer we want.
