Mk4 or mk3.5
Yep, i understand this,it is the same like mk3,but if you're driving around the city and turning wheel in more then 180° where are the paddles?😅 Another question in list: shift by wire works fine?

Mk4 or mk3.5
Hi guys, i dont want to start the same topic but i have the same dillema here, mk3 or mk4. I'm an ex owner of 2015 estate RS TDI DSG Stage1 and was more then pleased for 8 years with everything. Now I'm thinking should I go for mk3 fl estate with 50-80k km or 2021-2022 mk4 rs tsi hatch with 50-60k km(with at least 1year warranty). For the last few weeks been reading all the www that i could find and watched ytb review so i have more and more dillema is mk4 good decision. Got 2 small kids and mk3 boot was never full. Even done meter messurement of floor in mk3 est and mk4 hatch and boot floor is the same, maybe even bigger in mk4 so it seems there are no downsides of the boot. Although, rear seat leg-knee room in mk4 according to the post is smaller?is that true? i'm 6feet tall. The infotainment is (of course) the 2nd part of this post (or maybe most important part), did the latest update fixed all the problems, especially the bugs with driving assistance problems, sos calls and so on?I find it bit funny that after 5years owners are still talking about it even the mk4.5 came up few months ago. I'm a bit "petrolhead", so dont wanna any enhangement of the assistance in driving(lane assist in mk3 in 8years was always off). can you in 3click turn off lane/front assistance and i supose it has sound for traffic limit speed? In the future stage1,2,3 is the way to go and suspension upgrade and so on...brakes in my old mk3(stock 340mm front) were perfect, never faded. Done some homework on ytb and 100-200 times mk3&mk4 are similar, even is20 vs garrett, even mk4 has some more hp with stage1. in mk4 i really miss dsg shifter for manual mode... This vehicle would be more like weekend car and for traveling purposes. Good thing is that i have ok relationship with skoda official guys, so everything that factory sorted it up i should not have problem with official service area. Also, custom tuner support is excellent. I would like your opinion in comparison these 2 cars in genneraly (building quality, headlights, brakes, engine, suspension,...) so, fire it away and thank you 😀

What’s this button?
I agree. In clio was under the driver's seat. But i guess it depends who and how installed it.

What’s this button?
Maybe too late for answer but i have similar button (but digital) in a company's car. In my case button is connected to 4G module for tracking purposes. If I press P it means private-personal usage and B is for business. Some company policies give employee some mileage for private use per month(for example 1k km).

Update to Version 1969
I was thinking to move fwd from mk3 to mk4 but after reading this i am not sure. Was looking for 2021-2022 RS TSI under warranty. Question is; with latest software update is infotainment all up&running or there are still problems?thank you

Octavia combi mk4 vs Cupra Leon ST mk4
Yes thanks, i saw the outside dimensions but i was thinking about inside. Maybe is just the feeling because of the seats in front and the rear but it seems that octavia is much more comfortable. Octi interior is much better then leon definitely, you can see and feel it that those are 2 different segments of the buyers.

Octavia combi mk4 vs Cupra Leon ST mk4
Hi guys, any owners with these 2 cars here? I'm wondering about room&space. It seems to me that 3 adult passengers can fit in Octi rear seats and no way in Leon. Also the Leon boot doesnt seem wide as Octi. Now i have octi combi mk3 and wouldn't be happy with less space. The other part off the story is engine, vrs245 vs 310 4wd. Tnx

Watter puddle in front area
Update: Car left at Skoda guys, 1st thing is to dry the car and then to check drains. Apperantly, skoda without panorama also have the same or similar issue. Reading one topic but i cant see what was the solution.

Watter puddle in front area
Thanks, It seems that we have same issue. Sorry to read there is no final post what was the cause and solution. In mean while i found that rear floor carpet behind passenger is little wet too. Tommorow I will go to Skoda guys and leave them the car. After removing A pillars and probbably footrest and side panels of the dashboard i think we could have some conclusion. Is there maybe any picture how does look like interior chasis without carpet? Just the have idea how and where the water goes. Already have body work manual. Car is parked on small downhill and bit on the right side. Maybe the problem is on the left side all the time. Although, 5 days ago while only right front side was soaked left drain worked fine.

Watter puddle in front area
Update. Now the driver side is fully clogged. Filled with water panorama area but water stands still, no drop of water is visible in engine bay area under the wiper. Bowden wire 2mm can not penetrate the area. Tried it about 2 hours but now luck. It reaches somewhere around lower nipple. Passenger side, water is running normal but wire does not come out under the wiper area. I guess procedure needs to be reverse, push the wire from under the wiper area to the roof. Any ideas? Is is possible to remove and wash or change rubber nipple under wiper area? How to do it? And one more thing, i can feel water under the seat is 3cm*5cm rectangle that floor-sponge is fully wet. Thanks,

Watter puddle in front area
Hi guys, Already done research on youtube&briskoda. I found great puddle in front passenger side(left side drive) and tried with 2mm cable through drain tube. Problem is that cable doesnt come out to the engine bay, neither driver&passenger side. Official service Skoda guys tried with air compressor and with water. According to them everything now is ok. A pillar had some water in it. After few days same thing starts to happen on the driver side. Questions are: -does the cable needs to go through drain tube all the way -can water from passenger side overflowe to the driver side or now i have 2 problems Thanks,
