My 2019 Kamiq is my first car that has had blind spot detection and I don't think that I would have another car that did not have that safety feature. Whilst it is not a feature that I particularly like, I am amazed at the negative comments on Lane Assist. Both my wife and I feel that it is a useful safety function that we never turn off, when it does give a nudge that we have crossed a centre line or the system fails to recognise the lack of a centre line, the nudge that Line Assist gives is such that any sensible driver should expect and cope with, during normal driving. Whilst not a like, my biggest gripe is the fixed, very low passenger seat. I have raised this by 30mm but my wife still uses a 100mm seat cushion which she also uses when driving the car. My other like is the car's utter reliability, it has never had any fault over the 4 years of ownership.

Now on my 3rd DSG but first Skoda. I am not aware of any noise from the drive train and do not notice the gear changes happening. When I had the Tiguan 150 ps with wet clutches, I was initially aware of the gear change but that changed over time.

Good Morning, I had the same problem when I fitted my dash cam. I eventually piggy backed to no 45 (Windscreen Wipers). No problems since. Good luck, Liam

Good Day Members. I have just taken delivery of a (nearly) new Kamiq SE from Wings of Peterborough, ex demo, with 26 miles clocked. I saw a picture of this grey coloured car on this forum and went there to see the Kamiq. I have previously owned an early and a later VW Tiguan which I bought particularly for the Tig's towing ability. We were avid caravaner's, usually wintering in Portugal or Spain. Having disposed of the caravan earlier this year, I was looking for smaller and lighter car and having been lurking on this site for some time thought that the Kamiq would fit the bill, hence my visit to Wings.
