  1. Mines been missing for a while too. I need to search the contents of the hoover bag to see if it's in there. I did find this part number for the whole assembly, but never got around to ordering one, but the OP says the clip isn't easily removable from the part. https://www.skoda-parts.com/spare-part/1k0881920ad9b9-headrest-guide-with-a-button-skoda-34638.html 1K0 881 920 AD 9B9
  2. I worked the door Frame rubber with my fingers pressing it into the frame, didn't really feel it press inwards but my door now opens & closes perfectly without catching. Maybe it had become dislodge when getting in & out of the car?
  3. I'll give it a proper inspection tomorrow. Really strange that this has suddenly started happening.
  4. But it still catches on the rubber after I've press the door card back in. The door then closes fine with the door card back in, but catches on the rubber again when I open it. It seems it the catching on the frame rubber that is popping the door card off. So why is it catching in the first place?
  5. Anyone know why my drivers door card is catching on the door frame rubber, making it difficult to open? Noticed today that when opening the drivers door of my Yeti it opened slightly then stuck, turns out the inner door card was catching on the door frame rubber. A further tug managed to open it. Also noticed the door card had popped out slightly, but it clicked back in. Unfortunately it happened again straight after. All the door rubber feels pressed in correctly, so I'm not sure why it's catching?
  6. I think the diff drain plug being so close to the Haldex drain plug is what confuses them. They drain the diff thinking they have drained the Haldex, then top up the Haldex. Seeing as the Haldex doesn't take much oil even when empty, they aren't concerned when they can only dispense a small amount of oil into the already full Haldex. Then the customer drives off with no oil in their diff which the mechanics deny any knowledge of
  7. What was the cause of failure at such low mileage?
  8. I'm not sure at this moment, I;m just trying to offer advice to someone else who is about to get their cam belt changed. On my Yeti some engines are best having the pump done at the sane time, I'll try and find out what engine he has. Is it just certain engines from a certain year that apply?
  9. Can anyone advise if a 2017 Rapid has the water pump connected to the cam belt please, and should it be changed with the belt at 5 years? Does it depend on engine type?
  10. Mmm, I'm having to think back now, but about £600 springs to mind for the Westfalia detachable towbar and electrics, fitted. Then a few weeks later about £70 for the faulty module to be replaced. Though it does behave like the dedicated kit - car alarm sounds when armed and the towing electrics get disconnected, no reverse beeps etc.
  11. Thanks @ApertureS Mine is a Yeti At least I now know that they didn't fit what I asked and paid for. North West Towbar Centre in Stockport. I made a long journey to get to them especially. Bugger.
  12. That's an interesting comment as I chose the tow bar centre based on recommendations from other customers, and the tow bar centres own advice to always install genuine wiring kit, so I assumed they had done exactly that. Are you saying that they have fitted aftermarket wiring? Only asking as I don't know the difference and would be interested in knowing if I have been ripped off. Or are you just saying that it wasn't a Skoda factory fit?
  13. In the weeks prior to this problem, I'd had a towing bar and electrics fitted. I took the car back to the tow bar centre and they diagnosed a faulty electrics module, this is part of the wiring loom that they had fitted. They said moisture had got to it, but I have no idea how. I had to pay about £70 for it to be replaced. I did wonder if it was just faulty, and they were charging me anyway, but I had no way of knowing so paid for the replacement. This was the module they referred to, they wouldn't give me any part numbers or details, maybe to make me return to them if I had problems? But I snapped a cheeky photo..
  14. Well it certainly doesn't fit on very well, knock it and it comes off. Might have to tape it into position.
  15. Was doing an oil level check today and noticed this cover wasn’t fitted properly so I took it off and wondered if there ought to be a filter in there? 2017 Yeti 2.0L Diesel 4x4 Outdoor Drive
