A question to the owners of the IV model
Yes, I did the reverse wiring mod which helped a lot with the bass and overall enjoyment. However still not as good as the Dynaudio. It certainly depends on the source as well.

A question to the owners of the IV model
I have noticed some slow speed jerkiness though only when the battery is all but flat.

A question to the owners of the IV model
I've had my L and K IV estate for coming up 2 years now. 22000 miles on the clock. I came from a 2.0 diesel Pasatt estate. A few observations from the last 2 years. original tyres about 80% worn front and 50% rear. Excellent economy for a big heavy car. Last journey this week 3 people and luggage, 233 miles mostly at 50/70mph. Full battery at start. Computer ses 64.2 mpg. (reads a bit high so probably actually 61-62 ish) Regularly get 8-900 miles between fill ups with a mixture of long and short journeys charging when possible. Company car so very low BIK and 2-3p per mile running cost for all my private local journeys. (using Octopus Go 5p/Kwh night rate...soon going to 7.5p) Recent warm weather regularly getting 32 ish miles on battery. Prob about 22 when very cold though. Love the smooth and silent drive experience buzzing around town with instant acceleration when in e mode. Not sure if I could ever have a car now without ACC especially when used with PCC. A couple of small niggles.... Canton sound OK but not as good as Dynaudio in Pasatt. Columbus occasionally locks up when using wireless carplay. Needs long press to reboot. Very occasionally and randomly current speed limit displays in kph ie says 80 in a 50 area. Using PCC car sometimes starts to slow down at junctions where the speed limit on the ajoining road is different even when car sat nav is pointing me straight on. Assume the TSR is picking up on speed limit signs but not convinced of this. Have struggled and failed to update maps and software on Columbus which may resolve these issues. Need to re-visit this. Hybrid mode reverts back to e mode after stopping. Have run the battery down a few times when didn't re-engage hybrid mode.

iV ICE keeps running after hoofing it in e mode.
Over a year in and still loving my iV but this annoys me a bit... When driving along in e mode I need to overtake quickly so foot down and away we go...full power for a few seconds, ie sport mode. So then slow back down but the ICE keeps running and car does not revert back to E mode until you next come to a halt. Only then will the ICE cut out and e mode resumes. The display does not change from e mode. Anybody else noticed this or am I doing something wrong?

Superb iV 3 pin charging
Yes there is a timer built into the car for controlling the charging but I find it a lot easier to use the app on my phone. Also I can monitor the energy usage using my Meross energy monitoring smart plug.

Superb iV 3 pin charging
I've had my IV for a year now and only ever charge it from a 3 pin socket. No problems here. I also use a smart socket which means I can easily schedule charging to start at 00:30. This is when my Octopus Go unit rate drops to 5p. In the 4 hr slot at 5p it gets to about 85% charged. So I get the first 30 ish miles of each journey for about 70p. i was concerned that the smart plug may cook but it copes perfectly with the 10 amps charging current.

Superb iV kWh consumed per month
Not had issues with the plug overheating even for a full charge on a warm day. I did do a rough calibration of it though using my smart meter as a reference and found it to be about 15% high.

I monitor my charging power using a Meross smart plug with energy monitoring. The app on my phone looks like this....

Superb IV improving battery performance
I've also noticed a drop off in expected electric range recently. I was down to about 23 or so after a full charge. After a 290 mile journey yesterday I charged up when I got back and now gone up to 27 miles elec range so it seems to keep recalculating this figure based on recent driving style and journey type. When I got back I also filled up with petrol. Only had 5 miles range left and got 56.4 litres in (12.37 galls). Since last fill up I've done 734 miles but also recharged it with a total of 82kWh during this time. This has cost me about £11.56 at 14.1p/kWh. So a total of £62.30 for petrol plus the £11.56 for leccy = £73.86. When converted back to gallons at £1.10/litre works out at 14.75 gallons. So average fuel consumption has been 49.8 mpg. If you don't include the leccy cost it works out as 59mpg. Not bad considering the time of year and 2 of the journeys were long motorway drives. This is slightly better than my previous DSG 150 diesel Passat at this time of year Interesting that I managed to fit 56.4 litres into the 50 litre tank which wasn't quite empty!!

FL MY2021 Lane Assist Coding Possible?
Yes this what I assumed. Can anyone show me how to do this?

FL MY2021 Lane Assist Coding Possible?
I think perhaps what I am experiencing as you say is minute adjustments to the steering and not actually meandering. I'm probably a bit critical of it as its the first time I tried it this week. Regarding TJA, I always have ACC active but it still turns off ALG at below 40 mph. I do not seem to have an option to turn TJA on anywhere.

FL MY2021 Lane Assist Coding Possible?
It seems I have added ALG to my car but this has not automatically enabled TJA. The coloured lanes graphic greys out when my speed drops to below about 40mph. With ALG set active on a motorway I noticed a slight tendancy for the car to meander a little and not stay dead centre in the lane. I assume this is normal behavior. Has anyone been able to enable TJA with obdeleven?

No I didn't apply the adaptations you suggested. I already had a Lane Assist tick box on the VC assist menu.

FL MY2021 Lane Assist Coding Possible?
Apologies but I have now got it working. Just back from a spin to test it. I was over-complcating things. It seems as lane assist was already active all I had to do was change one setting. That was the 'point of intervention' setting changed from late to 'early setting via menu'. I now get adaptive lane guidance on the Columbus. Do I now get traffic jam assistance as a by product of this? When you say turn off VC do you mean via the steering wheel buttons as still not in the assist options on the VC menu.

FL MY2021 Lane Assist Coding Possible?
Can somebody enlighten me as to whether I can add advanced lane assist to my MY21 iV L and K It has lane assist as standard i.e it will vibrate the wheel as a warning if the car drifts to the line without the indicator on. What I want and though I could add was advanced lane assist which is part of the travel assist package option on the MY21. ie car steers itself between the road lines for a period of time. My car was ordered back in February and I added TSR which gives me predictive cruise control. At the time I don't recall travel assist being an option. Its a £190 option on the iV which leads to to think it may not need any extra hardware from the factory...just coding.

See my earlier post on this. I did about 200 miles mainly at 70 mph in hybrid mode then stopped for lunch with about 20% battery left. When I set off again it went into e mode without realising and used what was left in the battery in only a few miles. Even then it seems to always keep enough battery for the first few yards when setting off from a standstill.

Not sure if using sport mode to get the battery to recharge will aid overall economy. Probably better to start a long journey with a full charge in e-mode then when you get out of town switch to hybrid mode manual and set it leave some percentage in the battery for use when at destination. If running in hybrid you can still floor the loud pedal and get full sport acceleration. I was suprised how it takes off when I tried this.

Not just me then. I agree, the app seams very unreliable. And they expect us to pay for this after year 1. I might have considered doing this if you could reliably warm/cool the car and defrost the windscreen. Having said that if you could at least warm the car up the windscreen would defrost anyway.- 2021 Model L&K Superb IV Estate (UK)

I'm struggling a bit with the Air conditioning part of Skoda connect. It seems you can set the air coditioning temperature to either warm or cool the car and also the window heating. I tried setting the car to warm up but when I went out to it the fan blower was on low but wasn't very warm. Does it take ages? Also tried window heating. I assume this is the heated screen not the blower. Again not much happened. And what exactly does Power source mean. You can flick on 'please allow battery usage'. Can it start the engine and use the ICE to warm the car. I thought it was illegal to leave a car running unattended. Need to get the hang of this before the cold weather starts.- 2021 Model L&K Superb IV Estate (UK)
Though I would share my charging setup. I knocked a half brick out of the side of the garage and mounted a weatherproof box with a similar hole in the back. I passed the cable through from the inside and when not in use it stores inside the box. So I now don't have to open the garage door to charge up. The box is only 300x200X80 mm so not intrusive. The cable and plug store easily inside it. If I need to take the cable with me I can easily feed it back through the hole. Inside the garage the charger is plugged into a dedicated 13A socket via a smart plug from Amazon. This has the energy monitoring feature so using the app I can see how much its costing to charge. Its a Meross socket from Amazon. I can also turn charging on or off using the app or Alexa. On a recent 640 miles round trip I got about 54mpg. That was just with a single charge up at the start. On the outward leg I got over 60 mpg but the battery was flat when I filled up at 300 miles. These are real brim to brim mpgs. The boot was also full of quite heavy stuff. I decided not to bother with a fast charger. You only save 1.5 hrs to fully charge and they seem to be very expensive. I regularly see 34-35 miles indicated battery range. Just back from a trip to the shops. 9 miles in e-mode and battery at 75% and 26 miles range left. - 2021 Model L&K Superb IV Estate (UK)
