  1. I have switched back to my original turbo after almost two years with an RTMG hybrid 240rs . Process was going smoothly but when I took it on a test drive it had no power.. Live data from OBD dongle showed 1.37 bar boost when flooring it but max torque was 80nm , played with the wastegate actuator seems to be ok , removed the charge pipe and intake throttle body was moving ok. Diagnostic tool later showed fault - 01282 - intake manifold flap , change-over valve (N239) . Has anyone else faced this problem? Any solutions? thanks.

Spool is real quick probably because turbine is billet and i was told that i could have made 10 more hp on 95 but temp readings were starting to get high + the temp outside was 40 degrees and i wanted trust ability, ill probably go back to tune it to 98 next month and thats when i am stopping.. more power seems pointless and expensive..
  3. Tuner said dsg7 loses 20hp at wheels so maybe 185 crank , i have the rtmg hybrid, 2.5 downpipe , ngk r spark plugs and thats it power wise..
  4. Ahh ok , i got my tune yesterday, running the rtmg hybrid turbo . made 165 whp and 290 nm (from about 2200 rpm to redline ) on the dyno with 95 octane , tuner suggested switching to 99 octane saying i can probably gain 20 more hp...
  5. @FabiaGonzaleshow much whp do you currently make? And on what octane?
  6. lol true.. so if only with the forged con rods an exhaust system and a 240hp capable turbo will the engine might be able to live happily?
  7. there's got to be a company that makes custom rods and pistons that will be able to do the job..

  10. So I recently swapped the original head unit from a 2015 to a 2016 for apple carplay .. After going to the dealer to disable CP everything worked great (carplay & bluetooth) and the next day the only function left working is the radio .. I went back to the dealer and they said they have nothing they can do about it because the head unit comes from another car and i should go to someone who can hack the unit.. is there anyone that can help me? I understand that it could be unlocked remotely (that would be great if possible)

  12. *Info for anyone interested in upgrading to a hybrid turbo* So after getting the 1.4 hybrid turbo i faced a problem with the wastegate physically not fitting the turbo , the 04E 145 713 N turbo that is used as a base for the hybrid turbo comes with a different wastegate than the 04E 145 721 B the 04E 145 721 B wastegate- the 04E 145 713 N wastegate- the 04E 145 713 N based hybrid turbo

  14. I had a feeling it was a bad install.. the guy at the shop gave me a couple of aluminium rings that came with the springs and told me it was unnecessary.. if they are where in the assembly do they go? (I think i will try to fix it myself..)
  15. Hey , i have recently installed eibach lowering springs and started hearing clicking noise when turning (stationary and on parking speeds) has anyone else experienced this problem/ has a solution? IMG_2713.MOV
  16. Hey , recently got this rtmg ea211 1.4tsi hybrid turbo for my fabia , it came without a wastegate actuator so i wanted to ask if i could attach the one from the stock turbo or should i get a new none oem one?
  17. Does anybody know of any fuel injectors and pump that will work with the mk3 ? i am currently getting 174hp (1.4 turbo , exhaust , intake). i was told that it could help me achieve 10 ish hp and more low end power ..
  18. so .. my dad had to switch the turbo back due to water pump failure we sent it to vw mechanics they slapped a new water pump on it and it had also failed.. had a series of annoying expiriences now it is all fine .. but after all the mess my dad gave up on helping me switch to the 1.4 turbo (installing it by himeself basically πŸ˜‚) so now it is all up to me . tbh i have little how to do it.. any guides videos or anything that can help me?
  19. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ sunscreen is a must when working outside.. I too have installed the 1.4 turbo with my dad it took us 4 hours overall and there are minor changes to the car performance..but it deffinetly feels like the turbo is stressing much less and has more power to give.. now about the mapping, should i go to a tuner or do you think i should use an COBB accessport and e- tuning?

  22. so this is the one that will fit 2015 fabia and take it from 110 hp and will give me 170hp -ish mapped correct? if so i am buying.
