  1. I've just this evening experienced exactly this issue, with the same annoying experience of not being able to deactivate the alarm at all, several times......and now fearful it will re-occur overnight! Was any assistance or explanation forthcoming @Tried5UserNames ?
  2. Absolutely no other drivers other than me, and this is absolutely nothing to due with driving style over any bumps whatsoever. It's pure mechanical failure under normal driving conditions. One of those things that just happen now and again guys - no blame to be apportioned anywhere that I can see. Anyway, pleased to report all is now good, car has been repaired and is back with its proud owner/driver. A commendable turnaround under the circumstances IMO (credit my local dealer and the SKODA ASSISTANCE team).......best thing is they have saved me my cross country commute in a shed of a VW Sharan that Enterprise had dropped off to use while mine way was "away". Keep smiling and stay safe everyone 😊
  3. Packed mine off to Skoda - not a pretty sight Front nearside coil spring sheared.....hopefully be reunited in a few days. Stay safe.
  4. Thanks for that @jamiegt10 - really appreciated.
  5. Could you share a photograph showing the extent of Android Auto integration via the VC you mention? #VeryInterested
  6. 1440.....🤔.....am I missing out on anything here? What does 1440 bring to the table and where is it available? (presume Skoda)
  7. This reminds me of Pheaton I used to own. Such a cool feature, would love it operational on my Superb.
  8. I spruced up the old lady yesterday....not the greatest of photos, but the subject matter is kinda nice (IMO)
  9. Cheers @DB72 I will try that. This is becoming an informative thread for newbies like me.
  10. I've just come across another "annoyance" - turning the AC OFF requires you to go in to the menu screen to do so, leaving the need then, to make more menu/screen selections to revert to the previous screen. It would be good if the AC control screen auto-reverted back to where you were before opening the controls. She's still a keeper! 😉
  11. Realise I have not been here long, but I have come across one thing I would definitely change on my S3 ('18 Sportline 280 4x4) in my short ownership period to date. The wash wiper reservoir fill location...: ...just a tad awkward to fill from that's all.....IMO :-) Needless to say, as this is my only gripe so far, the car is doing really really well :-)
  12. Those last ten words kill it for me. Cheers for sharing though 👍
  13. "the coasting function" @shyVRS245 - can you expand on that? Anything that makes my regular 136mile journey more economical gets my vote. (rushes off to scour manual for "coasting function")
  14. Lovely that @T-800 Mind if I ask the colour?
  15. Cheers for the prompt responses @Wino, @JR RS - much appreciated. I knew there'd be more informed folk here than me.
  16. I've scouted around the posts for this but can't seem to find the answer,....though I suspect I know it :-) All I am wondering is if the TPMS actually displays the tyre pressures anywhere (on Columbus screen or the instrument cluster) - it seems not, but seeking confirmation. All help appreciated. There is no mention of it in the brochure either from what I understand, with only the following being noteworthy (IMO) :
  17. Thought I'd add a couple of pictures, only seems appropriate. I'm really over the moon with this piece of kit. Seem to be having some intermittent Android Auto issues but confident that is the AA software, not the car - the car is the mutts nutts (IMO) 😉
  18. New to these shores, but with my recently acquired "toy", I thought it appropriate to say hello 👋 Looking forward to sharing my Skoda Superb experience.......and (I have no doubt) picking your friendly brains.
  19. I have the same conundrum with my (recently acquired) Superb with Columbus unit. Would love to see the option to use the phones ringtone.......anyone?
