Hi all, I have a 2017 FL Octavia vRS with the tsi engine. The actuator on the turbo is sticking. Skoda won't sell me one without a complete turbo which I'm keen to avoid for obvious reasons. My local VW specialist will change just the actuator if I supply but he didn't know which one I'd need. So is there any way of finding out which part I need please? Thanks in advance.

Hi, now my 17 plate FL Octavia is out of warranty I'm interested in making a few changes. Things I'm interested in are: enabling virtual sub disabling fake engine noise extra colours for interior lighting high beam assist if possible traffic sign recognition reducing the interval of headlight washers There are probably other things that I'd benefit from but don't know what's possible. Is there anyone in South Wales who could help on this? I'm not looking for a freebie, happy to pay my way. Sadly I don't have the time, or probably ability, to learn this myself. Thanks

I'm 99.9% sure the passenger side seat belt adjuster is rattling on mine. But I can't seem to fathom how. Was the gap on yours at the top or bottom of the slider?

Gave the passenger side adjuster a poke today and couldn't believe how flimsy it is! No wonder it can rattle. Nothing seemed loose though I could poke it in and out of the b pillar with ease.

Ah not just me then. Got an annoying rattle from somewhere under the steering wheel and a high pitched buzz from somewhere on the passenger side front. Really frustrating.

If it was really easily accessible I'd more than happily fix it myself. I guess I'm a bit annoyed that I paid top whack for a 3 year old car that has done less than 21k and now I have to sort it myself. Maybe my expectations need to be managed 🙃

Phoned Skoda and told them about the issue. They'd have a look but if not a manufacturer defect then they'd charge me £96. They told me that it didn't sound like a manufacturer defect despite my protestations... Any thoughts on next course of action? Skoda UK?

Pity the local dealer is 20 miles away but needs must. Luckily the car seems to be working fine so no rush.

No clues anyone? With that in mind, is it easy to remove the undertray so I can have a look? My car is under warranty but not sure this is a warranty item. I'd be happy to re-attach it myself if it was easy to get to.

Looks similar to mine. Clearly it was clipped to something at sometime. Hard to get to thanks to the undertray and plastic covering everything.

Just cleaning some bird dirt from the front of my car and noticed something dangling behind the front grille of my VRS. I can't see it from under the bonnet so does anyone know what it is? I'm assuming a temp sensor? Cheers
