There is no option for TJA. It just needs to be activated by vcds / obd11 once done you can test it out.

That is not my experience on the motorway. I can see the car doing minute adjustments being centre of the lane. If it doesn't pick up the lines or the lines have disappeared, its a different story. The meandering you speak of use to happen when i didn't have the Active / Adaptive part on. You can activate TJA as well. The only difference between the two is one enables it to work for speeds below 40mph but ONLY if ACC is on.

My other non-skoda car had a start stop issue. But almost all start stop systems work in the same way. In my case and could be in yours too, the pressure sensor might be broken and always detects 0 pressure. Has a diagnostic been done?

I might be wrong here, but they are different parts one with and without fogs. If you want to purchase, there are 4 variants of the one side of light. LHD/RHD HATCH/COMBI.

You can check if you have tja by putting ACC on below 40mph and see if it picks up the lanes

@JR RS just wanted to thank you again for your detailed response. Looks like i do have tja. Which got me thinking what the most extreme turn the lane assist can deal with. There are areas where I think should comfortably handle it but then just veers off into the other lane.

If you look around vcds I'm sure you can activate it, sounds like all the hardware is there.

If I am not mistaken, that's an option that needs to be turned on via the main screen on the dash. It should be under Car>Settings>Driver Assist Features In there scroll down to Lane assist and you will see you have lane assist ticked but adaptive lane assist unticked.

Mind linking the brand? I'm thinking of taking the wheel off when I need to change my tyres, leaving the tyres on and doing a sand fill primer paint, that way I don't have to worry about masking. Was coming out of the in-laws house the other day and then it happened. Co incidence I think not.

Most online free vin checkers are useless. When I've entered my vin sometimes it comes up as a fabia. Best thing you can do is ask your dealer for the spec sheet.

Do they ever make sense? Just cash making scheme. If you were being a real optimist you could say it encourages car makers to build cheaper efficient cars. The idea is purely if you can afford to pay 40k for your car, we want some of that... Oh yes and the environment

I'm pretty sure all L&K use to come with lane assist anyway? But if for whatever reason to doesn't, as long as you have the camera, which the traffic sign recognition needs you should be okay. I don't know if the dealer will do it, but anybody with vcds should be able to do it. Or if they do they'll probably charge you more for it

Looks like you just need to activate it, you need obdeleven / vcds. But what I mean was looking at the driver assist functions on the middle screen of the car. Where the nav, settings etc are.

Understand pACC uses maps data. From a logic point of view it seems simple enough... Detect traffic sign, if ACC on adjust speed. I was just thinking maybe some custom code via vcp

I see that you're using obdeleven which is known to cause coding errors. If you have access to vcds genuine, you might be better off eliminating coding vs obdeleven issues

I thought that was just intermittent, where it wipes every few seconds, changeable by the stalk. (Taking that's how other cars do it)

Thank you @JR RS very detailed. I think what I missed was that tja is only active when acc is active below 60km. On a second note, I looked at my stalk yesterday no auto rain sensing wipers? What's that about? Do Skoda not give that s standard?!
