Android auto and Samsung phones problems!
Wow, That's a shame. UPDATE: No more disconnections for me using the USB port in the back. Finally I can use my new phone on my Superb!! I'll look for a replacement USB port from the one in the front near the ashtray

It's below the rear air condition vents, next to a normal electric socket.

Android auto and Samsung phones problems!
It's actually more comfortable this way, no cables in the ashtray and looks cleaner overall. Do you know where I can find a replacement USB socket? Thanks

Android auto and Samsung phones problems!
I've been trying to find a fix in the last few days, and maybe I found the solution - it's the USB socket, so using the rear USB port solves the issue!! Here's what I tried so far: - resetting, deleting, reinstalling and clearing cache of AA on the phone - using all kinds of cables., short, long, official Samsung and other high quality cables - disabling battery optimization for AA - Restarting the infotainment system a few times none of this worked, I kept having random disconnections. Then a member on a Skoda facebook group suggested that the problem is with the USB socket near the ashtray. He suggested to use the rear USB port, and guess what, so far so good! I've been using it since yesterday and it has been working just fine I don't know if it's a faulty USB port or the voltage isn't adequate for the new Samsung phones, as it worked perfectly fine with my old LG phone. I'll update the post if needed

Android auto and Samsung phones problems!
Hello everyone. I'm having issues with android auto on my superb mk3 2017 with a new Samsung S21 ultra phone. After connecting the cable, AA launches fine, but I keep having disconnections from time to time, making it unusable. Reading baiut this issue, I tried many types of cables, even official Samsung and high quality 3rd party ones. I tried choosing MIDI connection as the default USB connection mode as suggested from other users, but nothing. Sometimes after the issues arises my phone prompts me with a message to allow access to phone setting once again, as it seems it's not able to save this setting. I attached a picture of the message and of my infotainment system (Columbus?) Has anyone experienced this? Any help? Maybe there's a need for a software update from Skoda to support the newer phones? Thanks for any tips!

Piano Black trim and scratches
Hello everyone I have an annoying rattle while driving coming from the lower part of the piano plastic trim , where the cupholder lines with it. Once I press hardly on it, the rattle stops. I'm trying to open it and put some insulation, but I'm afraid to break the plastic as it looks quite fragile. I intend to lift the lower part where the cupholder is , nothing else. Should I simply lift it upwards? How is it held in place? Thanks

Noisy and creaking active suspensions - how to apply grease
@Baverhanne Thanks, I can't fully understand the diagram, but I'm sure it will be helpful. That's interesting. I might as well replace those bushings. Any idea what is the SKU of those bushes? Thanks again

Noisy and creaking active suspensions - how to apply grease
Hello everyone I have a Superb MK3 2017 4X4 with the dreaded squeaking noises from the the front suspensions. During the annual service I asked the dealership to check this issue. They claimed they put lots of grease, but the noises haven't changed at all. After reading about the problem. I read it's recommended to lube the wishbone bushings, and was advised to use this specific lithium grease and not any type of grease with code G052150 A2 which I just boought. Since it's out of warranty, I'd like to try this myself. I added an official document from Skoda (possibly) explaining how to use the above lithium grease to fix the noises. Is there a place where I can find pictures of these transverse links so I can apply this grease? Thanks in advance.

Sunroof creaks/rattles solved.
Update on this: So I had my yearly service and I mentioned these noises to the dealership. They said it's a known issue with this model, and there's not much to be done. They put some grease on the rails (without mentioning exactly where), but it didn't make any difference. Reading other skoda and VAG forums, it is advised to try specific grease for sunroofs. for example: G 052 141 A2 - Seal Lubricating Grease Has anyone tried this before doing more drastic measures? Thanks

Creaking and groaning suspension : non active suspension
Thank for the summary. I have a Superb MK3 2017 4X4 with these squeaking noises front the front side. During the annual service I asked the dealership to check this issue. They claimed they put lots of grease, but the noises haven't changed at all. I'd liked to lube the wishbone bushings as it's out of warranty, and was advised to use this specific lithium grease and not any type of grease with code G052150 A2 Since it's out of warranty, I'd like to try this myself. Does anyone have a photo of which specific bushings are the cause of the noise? Do I have to release the bolts to apply the grease? Thanks in advance.

60k km service part list
Hello everyone. My superb mk3 2017 2.0 280bhp 4x4 needs a 60,000 km service. I'm willing to buy parts myself. Where can I find the parts list and part codes for the service? And what are the best engine and DSG gear oils, or most recommended ones? Thanks

Sunroof creaks/rattles solved.
Will surely do For now I asked a few Superb owners, and the problem is quite common actually. I asked an expert in fixing sunroofs (not specifically Skodas), and he said that it is a known problem in the superb. He claims that the problem is related to poor insulation in the sunroof rails, with time some space between the sunroof itself and the basement of the rails happens, so whenever the car leans to a side, these squeaks are heard. He also claimed that this has been fixed with the 2020 Superb models, and that fixing this required opening up the whole thing and adding some insulation to prevent these tiny but irritating movements in the space. Needless to say, the fix is very expensive, for now I'm not willing to pay 1000$+ for a fix.

Sunroof creaks/rattles solved.
The noises now come from the lateral sides of the roof, and not from the rear part (solved when disconnecting clips as mentioned in the post). I tried pressing and pulling at many spots, but the noise is still there. It is noticeable mainly if I drove say on a bumper only on one of the tires, and presumable pressure is put on the side when the car leans. I'll for a dealer that is willing to take apart the whole roof, as this is driving me crazy ..... IMHO this is not acceptable in a 2017 superb L&K . Let me know if you have any other ideas.

Sunroof creaks/rattles solved.
UPDATE: I tried the method mentioned here, it actually reduced about 80% of squeaks and rattles, but I still had more noises from the side of the roof. I tried disconnecting the clips from all parts of the roof, not only the rear part as mentioned, it helped even more, but I still have squeaks coming from the sides of the roof, especially when the car goes over a bump from on of the sides. Any idea what could also be causing this?? Thanks!

Rear wiper arm cap - where can I get it from?
I eventually got it from here; https://cars245.co.uk/item/skoda-3V5955435-cap/ It will take a few weeks until they will ship it, but at least I hope it's the correct part.
