  1. I emailed dealer last week about extending warranty & service plan but had no reply, must give them a call I think
  2. Seems extended warranty is regarded as a good deal but not the service. Think I might email the dealer and ask if its possible for him to sweeten the deal if we have it.
  3. Should be getting 1.5 manual Karoq in next couple of weeks and been thinking about the Service plan and extended warranty offered by Skoda. £396 for first 2 services and 4 year / 80 k extended warranty for £300. Intend to keep the car for 3 or 4 years and cost seems reasonable ish to me. Quite surprised the dealer has not been trying to sell the deal really. What is the general consensus- good value or not. Realise the extended warranty value, or not, depends a lot on how "lucky" you feel. TIA

Losing the torch seems a backward step but not the end of the world I guess, still have the umbrella I assume Does the MY21 Karoq have dynamic/sweeping indicators?

Would be surprised if it is on the boat for 2 weeks, Skoda chat said 1or 2 days on the boat, then it can take about a week to get from the port to dealer "So I can see that your order is at status 38 which means it has been released for shipping at the Port of Exit, so it's just waiting to be loaded on to a ship. Your vehicle arrived at the Port of Exit on the 19th of September and can take up to 7-10 working days to be loaded on to the ship. Once it is on the ship it will take around 1-2 working days to arrive at the UK Port"
  8. Which blue is that? TIA M
  9. Does it normally take the dealer about a week to complete the PDI, registration and not sure what else they do TBH
  10. My Karoq is due for delivery 29/10, have just been on Skoda chat and by my reckoning it might be a little earlier than that. First time I`ve used Skoda chat and seems pretty good. From chat: Perfect, thank you! So I can see that your order is at status 38 which means it has been released for shipping at the Port of Exit, so it's just waiting to be loaded on to a ship. 11. I thought there were heated wires at the bottom of the screen which heated the air, could be wrong but that's how I understood after watching the video. As above I was very happy with heated screen on my Ford which is why I have added to karoq order
  12. Wonder if wedding rings etc are causing the issue, though the chrome finish should have been specced to withstand that.
  13. As above I`ve had a Ford with heated screen and no issues - can see the wires if you go looking for them. Anyone have any info on how effective the wireless screen is. Dealer notified me of the price increase but they are covering the increase.
  14. So which ships are Skoda using now
  15. Did the dealer contact you? I was just expecting updates from Skoda UK rather than the dealer The email I got from Skoda UK said: "And just so you know, we'll keep you up-to-date with the progress of your car. So please keep a look out for any future emails from us."
  16. Still nearly 2 months, or more, before my Karoq gets delivered but from reading above posts I`m already looking at wipers. Had an email from Halfords a couple of days ago pushing their silicone wipers, long lasting etc etc. Have had a quick google and lots of people singing their praise, apparently the wipers can put a thin silicone layer on the screen which repels water. Anyone tried them?
  17. Most people are reporting 12 weeks here
  18. I had the order confirmation from Skoda UK on 4th August, nothing since then though. Oh well will have to be patient🙂
  19. I have the incredimit and it is pretty good, had it a few years, though got to admit should have been using it more often. Looks like clean and shiny have it in stock though would have to pay postage buying online https://www.cleanandshiny.co.uk/
  20. Did the dealer or Skoda UK update you on expected delivery date
  21. I was told there were no 1.5 SE L with heated screens available in UK, also told the shut down was for annual hols- assume factory normally shuts down for summer hols every year?
  22. Should read 25 weeks is different
  23. So far it’s 2 at 12 weeks and one at 25 weeks. The 2 at 12 weeks are petrol and manual, maybe the 2 weeks is different?
  24. When did you order?
  25. I ordered on the 28th July and dealer said to expect late October delivery, Karoq 1.5 petrol. Since then have had order confirmation from Skoda UK, dealer said factory shuts down for 2 weeks hols at start of August. 26 weeks🙁
