I'm having the same issue along with the car jointing forward from when I accelerate when auto-hold is on.

Hi all, Looking to hear from other Kodiaq owners about a specific Auto Hold issue I've been experiencing since delivery. Mine is a 2024 Kodiaq iv. When stopped at traffic lights with Auto Hold engaged, pressing the accelerator causes the brake to release abruptly rather than smoothly, jolting the car forward. On a number of occasions this is accompanied by an audible bang. It's very noticeable and has been witnessed by a dealer technician during a test drive but he seems to think its just a characteristic of the car - it clearly isn't! A few specifics that might help narrow it down: It happens consistently, not just occasionally The jolt feels like a delay in the brake releasing, then it lets go suddenly rather than progressively The bang is audible to occupants and presumably to people outside the car It occurs in normal driving conditions - flat road, no slope involved The car has been back to the dealer but they haven't been able to diagnose or resolve it. They're currently trying to source a comparable iV for a test drive comparison. Has anyone else experienced this? Specifically interested in whether: Other iV owners have the same behaviour Whether it's been diagnosed or linked to a software issue Whether any fix has been applied Any experiences welcome, good or bad. I’ve had my 2024 Škoda Kodiaq iV (Selection+ PHEV) since Aug 2024 and have had non-stop issues since. The car has been back to the dealer 7 times and has spent over 2 months off the road in total. Main issues: • Assisted systems failures (Travel Assist, Lane Assist, Front Assist, ESC, etc.) – keeps coming back even after software updates, battery replacement, and rewiring • Sticky auto handbrake – causes the car to jolt forward when pulling away • Major breakdown – engine cutting out multiple times on a long drive, multiple system errors on screen Curious if anyone else has experienced similar problems with the 2024 Kodiaq (PHEV or otherwise)? Did you get it resolved? I have written to VWFS requesting a refund or replacement car, waiting to hear back. I won’t accept anything else, it's been a huge waste of my time, this car is not fit for purpose - is it just my car or is these common issues with this model?

Skoda has announced that the advertised feature to schedule charging from the car or the app to take advantage of cheap night-rate electricity will not be available until 2026. This feature has been promised many times, but I suspect we’ll never see it. I’ve had the car for a year now and have had ongoing issues with the ACC, which the software update didn’t fix. It’s been in the garage for ten days now. On the other hand, others who have the car don’t have this problem and are very happy with it.

Skoda have just emailed me and offered a free 6 month subscription to Care Connect, valued at a whopping €20 by way of compensation for the lack of Departure Planner. 😂

Just in from Skoda, this is utterly ridiculous! Skoda have promised me this feature will be delivered on 6 different occasions. Oct '24 Dec '24 March '25 July '25 Early '26

Haven’t heard that, it was a software update recall that didn't work for me

They replaced my 12v as a way to fix the travel assist issues but it didn’t work, nor did the software update, now they are scratching their heads as to what the fix is for that and want me to bring the car in a 4th time. Anyone know how many attempted repairs are required before i can demand a replacement car?

I’m not holding my breath, too many broken promises by Skoda around this. Clearly false advertising.

Anyone else still having issues with travel assist? I've had ongoing issues since October, software was updated in January, a battery was replaced in May but still having issues.

Thanks folks, It seems to be the exterior alarm being over sensitive to leaves brushing off the car, I turn off the interior one most of the time.

Kodiaq iv, 2024 This one is infuriating, car alarm keeps going off at least once a day for no reason, is there any way to permanently disable it? I asked Skoda Support about it but they were no help.

Seems they have changed their tune since I was told it's not happening at all. Lets see, we might get it before the car is a 1 year old.

New update from the dealer who sold me the car (re: departure planner). I won’t hold my breath.

I have been chasing this with Skoda since August '24. I was told it would be released in October, than December, than March.... 2 weeks ago I was told by Skoda the feature will not be coming to the Kodiaq iv at all! This was false advertising, it was listed as a feature on their website so I've logged a complaint with the Consumer Protection Commission in Ireland. Waiting for a response. The dealer was in touch, Skoda asked him to contact me but he obviously can't do anything and just passed on the message back to Skoda. I'm going to keep fighting this until I get a resolution. I would not have purchase the car if I knew it didn't have the ability to schedule charging to take advantage of cheap nighttime rates, its costing us a fortune. Never buying a Skoda again (I've owned 4 over the years) they can't be trusted and their customer care is awful, avoid.

I was thinking that it might be the battery size but the Suburb would charge 20-30%. Its a different system so who knows. 🤷🏻

The Kodiaq iv is my second Skoda PHEV. Previous car was a 2020 Superb iv. Usually on a long drive, using petrol in hybrid mode the Suberb would charge the battery, sometimes adding 20-30% of a charge depending on hills. After 8,000km driving the Kodiaq iv all over Ireland in hybrid mode, I’ve never seen the charge in the Kodiaq increase. I’ve tried increasing the recuperation to no avail. Does the Kodiaq not charge the battery when driving?

More issues with ACC and assisted tech. Update didn’t seem to work. Car going back in to the garage. Still no Departure Planner too, I regret buying this car, Skoda have really dropped the ball.

Still no sign of the Departure Planner, makes charging very difficult. This combined with the ACC software issues make me regret buying this car. Avoid.
