  1. Is it the new Superb? The Kodaiq monitors movement inside the car, I can disable it but have to do it every time manually, I forget most of the time.
  2. The car alarm on my new Kodiaq keeps going off for no reason. Anyone else have this problem? Another issue to add to the list.
  3. Brought the car to the garage for the software update last month to fix the ACC/Travel Assist issues but unfortunately the issues are back. Noticed on a longer than usual drive. This is very frustrating. Car alarm goes off daily for no reason as well.
  4. Got my car back today, the update failed on Friday so they had to keep it in over the weekend, so far so good.
  5. An update on Departure Planner for the Kodiaq iv from Skoda, the wait continues, starting to regret buying this car.
  6. You put it better than I did. I suspect it will still be seen as 'poor design' šŸ˜‚
  7. If this is the case, unloading an OS and carrying out a clean install would be difficult over the air.
  8. Still no Departure Planner from Skoda, they said it would be released in December so they still have time šŸ˜‰. Has anyone heard any updates on the assisted systems?
  9. Has anyone heard any updates on this or has the over the air update been pushed out?
  10. Purchased an Octavia there in 2015 great service. Tried to purchase a Kodiaq there this year and the sales guy just didn’t seem too interested or responsive, I ended up using another dealer and even paying a small amount extra for peace of mind.
  11. Seems to be the same issue everyone is having. My dealer was able to do a quick fix to get the assisted systems working again and its been fine for a month. I’m not sure if Skoda have released the update or if it will be over the air.
  12. The update is to fix the issues with assisted systems?
  13. Update from Skoda, Departure Planner will not be coming until the end of the year.
  14. The saga continues, Skoda came back to me with the following: We have received a response from our technical team. As our colleagues have informed us your cables are on 3x20A (3 phases) but the charger is 1x32A (one phase). The Kodiaq can take about 16-20A from a single phase that means, about 4kW. With a single-phase charging, the maximum power is about 7.3kW. This is what the VW ID4 can almost use. To use the full 11KW three phases and a minimum of 16A are needed. Of course, we are talking about theoretical values, and the reality of physics will always be with deviations. So it seems to be either the cars software or the cable supplied with the Kodiaq as I charged the car at 6kw using a cable from a ID4. They don’t offer a solution. šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø
  15. Just an update on this, I've done some testing using other chargers and cables. Kodiaq iv on my 7kw Home Charger Using cable supplied with the Kodiaq - 4kw Using cable supplied with a VW ID4 - 6kw VW ID4 on my 7kw Home Charger Using cable supplied with the Kodiaq - 4kw Using cable supplied with ID4 - 6kw Kodiaq iv on a 22kw Public Charger Using cable supplied with the Kodiaq - 10kw Using cable supplied with a VW ID4 - 10kw Also, the cable supplied with the car seems to charge at up to 10kwh but just not from my home charger. Also, just to note, the charging cable is not a branded Skoda cable, should it be?
  16. Thanks for the info, much appreciated. The master fuse says 60/80A. We did get a load balancer with the charger when it was installed as we have a 10kw electric shower but I've tested car charging when there was low usage in the house. I charged another car a couple of years ago and I'm pretty sure it got close to 7kw, I'll retest it again. My Superb iv only charged at 3.5kw so it wasn't an issue. The company who installed the charger haven't gotten back to me but I'll keep at them.
  17. I got a very poor and inconclusive stock answer, I'll ask again.
  18. They asked me to contact Elli, their charger partner. Elli came back and said they can only support Skoda and Elli wallboxes. So back to Skoda I go.
  19. Yep, I spotted that yesterday. Waiting for a response from Skoda. no-doubt they will tell me its an issue with my charger.
  20. I have a new Kodiaq iv (2024 PHEV) and I have an issue with home charging. When charging at home, the car should be charging at 7kw but it its only charging at 4kw (see attached). I have not set the current limiting. I used a public charger and got 10kw. From talking to people online, I’m not the only one having this issue, the guy in this review said the same thing. Anyone else having this problem?
  21. Skoda got back to me on this and said "The Departure planner feature should be probably available approximately in the first half of October." Result
  22. A workaround is to plug the car in, stop the charging in the app and stay up until 2am and start the charging again. šŸ˜‚
  23. It's a huge omission by Skoda and I probably wouldn't have ordered the car if I had known. It's going to cost me a lot as my electricity from 2am - 5am is 70% cheaper than the day time rate. My wall charger isn't programmable. The best thing we can do is get in touch with Skoda support and put pressure on them to add it in a software update - the more noise people make online about this the better the chances are of getting it added. I've already called them about this and I'm waiting for a response. My concern is that Skoda don't have a history of adding functionality like this in software updates, they usually just fix bugs. Fingers crossed.
