Hey, Just got delivery of a new 2024 Kodiaq iv. All good but there doesn't seem to be a departure planner (for setting charging times) in the Skoda Connect App. I had a Superb iv before this and it had this functionality within the app and on the Infotainment screen. Anyone know how I can find/activate it - seems strange its not available?

Probably discontinue the current model as they usually do. I’ve heard its being called a mk4.

I've been having issues too. To be honest, Skoda are not good in terms of tech, my 2020 Superb iv has had ongoing connectivity issues since I got it in 2020. Car companies are not tech companies but they need to become tech companies quickly and provide the support needed. My app stopped connecting to the car, I did the usual re-install, login and reactivate the account but its just not working. Skoda today told me: It does seem over complicated - primary users, S-pins and activations.... Still struggling through it so I'll keep you posted.

I gave up on this months ago, it doesn’t work. Buttons and fingers do. Pity. My life is better now I’ve accepted that Skoda make crappy software.

I charge my Superb iv at night with low rate electricity. I can set the charge to start at 2am but this has stopped working. Tried it in the car via e-manager and on the MySkoda app but it just resets itself and turns off my charging schedule. Anyone else have this issue? Not sure if its a software update bug or not.

I gave up on this a long time ago. It just doesn't work and resets itself all the time. Great cars but there are many problems with the infotainment systems and support is awful, they keep pointing me towards the dealer who is not savvy enough. Car companies are fast becoming tech companies and they needs to start providing proper tech support.

Hi, I've been using the new MySkoda app since it was updated in Dec 20, it has always had lots of bugs but today it has become unusable. It says my car is not activated (see images), when I click activate it says the vin I entered is wrong (it has the same VIN as it always had). Any ideas - Seems to work on the website.

Any attempted contact with Skoda has been ignored. Its a pity, the car is great but the buggy software really is frustrating and would make me think twice about buying another Skoda. Cars are big computers these days, the need to invest in proper user research and testing.

Anyone know how to turn off the annoying welcome message that appears every time you start driving the Superb iv? I have to press ok each time to get rid of it, very distracting while driving.

Having the exact same issues with my 2020 Superb iv. Very annoying. Everyone says the settings are under ‘Vehicle’ but they simply are not. Whats the point in having Kessy if it can’t be personalized? Another annoying yet minor issue is the welcome message that comes up each time i start driving, i have to tap ok to get rid of it, very distracting while driving. Any idea how to turn it off? I don’t need my car to Welcome me 5 times a day!

Not yet, Skoda seem pretty useless for tech support. They keep telling me to go the dealer which is difficult during lockdown. There also an annoying welcome message that appears on the screen every time I start driving the car, I have to click OK to remove it, unnecessary and distracting while driving. They tell me to bring it to the dealer for this too and won’t just tell me how to turn it off. Is your iv a Style model? if you get any answers let me know.

Same issue with my 2020 Superb iv and iPhone X. Very annoying.

Hi, When making or receiving calls via CarPlay people on the other end can't hear me well, I can hear them fine. Tried it with a few phones and all the same. Might be the mic in the car. Anyone else having this issue? Thanks, Dave Superb iv 2020

HI, just received my 2020 Superb Style iv PHEV. Its great. Does anyone know how I personalise each kessy key so when one of them opens the car it automatically adjusts the seats to the set drivers position? I can't seem to find the option, there are NO personalisation settings in any of the vehicle menus.
