  1. thanks silver1011. I'll get one and have it sprayed.
  2. Thanks Kenny. I've been all over google and ebay, but to no avail. Maybe I should upgrade to black caps on each side?!
  3. Right mirror had a fight with a tree and lost. Perhaps I'm searching incorrectly, but I can find a painted cap/cover replacement anywhere. Would very much appreciate any pointers. Thanks
  4. Great original question. I came into Skoda because of the reviews of the Superb (and I fell for the cycling sponsorship branding). I bought the 1.5TSI with a manual box and I love it APART from engine noises that would drive anyone crazy. I can't believe the brand just ignore it. I've called and written to the CEO, but I'm told this is normal. Maybe I made the mistake of falling for the veneer instead of investigating the engineering. Next...Perhaps I would head to Hyundia next (did I just say that?) or an older Merc E Class Estate. App
  5. Please be very wary of the 1.5 TSI with manual box. I think there might be a design fault...just watch and listen! I'm being told it's normal. If you ever drive with the window down it will drive you CRAZY! https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL3icfy9Zzs-KyRt02N02s5GZazpPllS6Q

  8. @Roller89 thank you so much. I finally found it. The number is +420 326 311 311 I tried linkedin before but got ignored. Thanks again for your help.
  9. Skoda Estate 1.4TSI Estate 2020. 10,000Km. Hello Everyone and Merry Christmas. Ever since I purchased my dream Superb I've been plagued with the a horrible clunking/banging/metallic noise in low end gear changes... Long story short. Back and forth to dealer. New clutch and flywheel. Noise continues. Engineer admits (privately) to me that they could change the gearbox but it most likely won't fix the small engine in big car issue. Last call from dealer was an invite to visit the dealership to be taught how to drive the car properly! What do you think? Maybe I should go for the lesson? Nobody wants to listen, so I need to take this up the chain. Can't find contact details for the CEO...if any of you sleuths out there can help, it would be hugely appreciated. TIA!!
  10. @vadimbo I didn't test drive as my dealer didn't have any Superbs. I made the purchase decision on all the excellent reviews! I am surprised none of them picked it up. Its not a new noise...its been there pretty much since day 1. Yes, pretty much only 1st and 2nd...no other noises. It is exactly the sound in your video. Such a shame, as it lets down a great car. I can live with it..but i dont want a catastrophic failure outside warranty!
  11. @vadimbo I have EXACTLY the same noise. Brand new MT 1.5TSI combi. Driving me crazy. Dealer says there's nothing wrong with it... Have you made any progress getting the issues accepted and resolved by Skoda?
