  1. Strange purchase decisions. You downgraded from a Superb to a Karoq and now downgraded to a Kamiq?? A Kamiq is a tiny tin can compared to a Superb.
  2. KaroqHenry posted a topic in Skoda Karoq
What do you call this colour?
  3. I never had any issue with the wire in the Ford heated screens.
  4. This is what MY21 Karow steering wheels are to look like, two spoke but with a bit at the bottom that makes it look like a spoke has been removed. Thsi picture is a mk4 Octavia.
  5. My car is to get the new two spoke steering wheel to replace the old 3 spoke. Your wheel must be a sportline feature.
  6. That really is bad. They degrade the car specification without amending the price. Removing the SD card slot, the standard USB A port, the torch and a spoke from the steering wheel (new one looks like a three spoke wheel that has had the vertival spoke sawn off) without as far as I can see adding anything. Not happy I ordered the car based on a test drive in a car that had all those features :(
  7. My point is that I ordered the car when there was no import duty. I agreed a price with the dealer and have been told by Skoda that the car is being built at he end of September giving them plenty of time to have the car imported into the UK before the tax change applies. I would not be taking court action against the government, it would be against Skoda UK for causing me the extra expense by failing to supply the car on the schedule that was agreed. On signing the contract I very specifically informed the dealer I had to have the car before the end of the year. By accepting my order both the dealer and Skoda are contract bound by that condition.
  8. Disapointed to hear that there is no SD card slot for media (in earlier years there were two SD card slots in the glove box, one for media and one for Maps for the sat nav. TBH I also don't like the chage to USB-C ports as nothing comes with a USB-C to USB-C cable. My phone came with a USB A to USB-C cable. Is the removable torch gone from the boot? Why to you want to listen to FM instead of DAB???
  9. My car should be in the UK by November. There is no way I would agree to pay 10% as it would only apply if Skoda delay building and dispatching the car. Any extra tax caused bu such a delay would be their responsibility. I would not only cancel the oreder I would take court action to reclaim costs for inconvenience and disapointment. I would then purhcase my second choice car, a Hyundai Tucson which is not effcetd by Brexit as it is already an inported car.
  10. That does not apply to a car that has been ordered. The price at date of order is part of the contract.
  11. Thanks, I will order these as I ony have A to C capbles.
  12. Go to the Skoda web page and use the live chat to ask. You would need your 8 digit order number.
  13. 24th August.
  14. Just been told that my Karoq is scheduled to be built in week 40 (beginning 28th September. It will be the new MY 2021 specification which means for my SE Tech the following: KESSY GO – Keyless start / stop system with alarm and SAFE system added Two USB C ports to replace 1 USB A (guess I will have to buy a couple of USB C To C cables) New two-spoke steering wheel Emergency call standard on all trims SE Technology will come with Remote access and Infotainment Online (1 year)
  15. Who knows, I don't actually need the car until January as my curre t car is a lease that ends on the 4th of January. I do know that the factory is working at full capacity now.
  16. The tyres are fine, the back wiper needs replaced and the back bumper needs a respray (don't ask).
  17. Happened after the 3 year warranty had finished.
  18. I currently drive a lease hired Nissan Note and will be replacing it with a Skoda Karoq. I need to get the Note ready for return. The Stop/Start system stopped working after the cars warranty had expired. I read that the most likely cuase is that the battery needs replaced. A new battery is £161!!! Would a normal battery costin £50-£60 do given I will be returning the car in a few weeks. I personally don't care about the feature but I don't want the warning light on the dash when they inspect the car.
  19. When I got my 2015 Fabia it was 3 weeks.
  20. I ordered a Karoq on the 24th August. A 1.0TSI SE Technology with optional heated seats and a spare wheel. As I refuse to pay extra for paint, it will be Energy Blue. The dealer said it was a 7 week deleivery time for factory order Karoqs, so should get it mid October. Can't help but think that is a rediculously long wait.
  21. I ordered an SE Technology 1.0TSI in energy blue with optional heated seats and spare wheel on Monday 24th August. Was told by my dealer 7 weeks, which is also the lead time for the Karoq as listed on the Car Wow website.
