  1. Hi guys, I'd like to publicly thank @pab567 ; I sent him my MIB2 and in less than 24 hours he sent it back to me updated with the latest firmware version (408) and with all the functions activated and working. I've already installed it in my 2016 Octavia Scout and everything works perfectly.
  2. You're right, it's not complicated. Years ago, I worked in industrial electronics, I had my own lab and all the necessary equipment and I did these things. Now I work in an office and have nothing more than a PC and a laptop that I use with VAG-COM. Please let me know, excluding shipping, how much this will cost. Thank you.
  3. No I'm sorry, I don't have the URAT interface and I noticed that even the Green menu has far fewer options than before and it's not possible to install updates. Everything else works normally (radio, NAV, SD reader for mp3 and maps). To avoid bricking the unit, perhaps it would be better if I sent you the MIB?
  4. Hi @pab567, I purchased the DLink E100 USB->ETH adapter. I tried patching the download without success, and I definitely messed up the software because when I insert an SD card with firmware 0369T or 0408T into the MIB it recognizes that it contains updates (the pop-up appears), but it doesn't give me the option to select a source from which to start the update in the Service Menu because the menu remains gray. The SD cards of the tests are 8 or 16 GB formatted in FAT32 and are the same ones I used to install Tobox and GEM, so they work. Can you message me privately and tell me if you can remotely access the MIB directly to edit the swdownload and modify the mateinfo2.txt file on the card inserted in the PC, or if I should send you the MIB so you can do the update for me? Thanks for your time.
  5. Hi @pab567 please give me some advice: I have MIB2 5Q0035864A on a 2016 Octavia Scout. I updated to FW MST2_EU_SK_ZR_P0253T, patched with GEM 4.11 and installed Toolbox v1.4.2, unlocked Smartlink and performance monitor with OBD11 but I can't update to any firmware version 03xx or 04xx. I've read several guides but with all the available FWs I always get the error message "Can't use Update Container, The Current Software Download application is too old." I would like to know if there's a way to prepare an SD card with the firmware that does everything or if I have to interact with Telnet to patch SWDL and other. Thank you.
  6. Hi @pab567 unfortunately I can’t update the MIB because “the current software download is too old”.. What can I do? Thank you!
  7. Hello everybody, @pab567can you send me link for download latest version for MIB2 on my 2016 Octavia Scout? I've already patched the unit and I've the green menu installed, it's a problem if I update the MIB? I'm trying to activate Mirror link with OBD11 with VAG PRO plan that I've just purchased but I can't find a site with FEC code generator. Thank you in advance for tour kind reply.

  9. I could try to change car and wife, maybe I could solve it .. but that's another story, better not tell her! I called the mechanic in Skoda, he says it could be a problem with the comfort control unit; when I find the time I'll go to the dealership
  10. Hi friends, in my wife's Skoda Fabia (MK2 my2013 1.2 TSI) I have a problem with the light switch: if I put the switch in the first step -position light- nothing happens, no light from front and rear bulbs even the dashboard lighting doesn't turn on if I put it in the second step -low beam- everythings works regularly as well as the fog lights and the rear fog light. No bulb error in the dashboard when the switch is in the first step -position light- even if nothing is turned on; the daytime lights turn off regularly when the switch is in the first step. I also tried with a friend's switch that the has same car but the problem still remain. I checked the fuses and are ok. Could it be a relay problem? Thank you.
  11. Hi @cryoxdsl, in the end I managed to assemble everything with the help of some photos and information found on a Russian forum ( https://www.drive2.ru/l/519364488936292562/); in my wiring there were only 4 wires even if the connector carries 5, the first two are + 12V and the other two are GND, the fifth -as mentioned- was not present. I connected the power (+12V) of the wireless pad in the fuse box to a under key source; in the end it mounts exactly like those non OEM found on Aliexpress or eBay, no interface with the CAN line or the MIB. The only problem I encountered is that the mat in the changing tray is very thick and if I use the phone (iphone XS) with the case the phone doesn't always recharge, sometimes it just takes a hole or a bump on the way to lose the connection; if I want to be sure to charge the phone I have to remove the case. In order to connect the GSM amplifier cable to the pad, I had to buy this adapter on Aliexpress: https://it.aliexpress.com/item/32881842021.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.27424c4dhW3biM so I avoided using the GSM cable sold together with the pad power cable - which is 5 meters long - and which I should have rolled up under the dashboard because I already had the original GSM wiring installed in the car (and honestly I haven't seen any benefit from the GSM signal amplifier). I'm sorry but I can't post photos because I forgot to take them during the installation, I hope this explanation will be useful for you ..
  12. Hi SashaGrace, thanks for your answer. I will get power from the fuse box as you suggest (it was much easier to take power behind the MIB ), I will check with VCDS if I correctly added the module to the gateway. The only doubt I have to solve is on the wiring, because 5 wires come out of the camera while there are only 4 wires on the wiring (excluding the video signal cable wich is separate).
  13. Hi guys, I also have the same problem as @HaronAshmoz , I have read many topics but i haven't been able to solve it yet; I have a 2016 Octavia Scout with Amundsen MIB2 radio (0245 software version) and I installed an OEM highline camera purchased on skoda-parts.cz with its wiring, I did the coding but I always get black screen with the error "Park Pilot not available" every time I put the car in reverse . I connected the + 12v to power supply of the MIB unit (also GND), I connected the CAN high and CAN low cables to those already existing in the quadlock and the two video pins, all as indicated in the diagram in the photo. What am I doing wrong? Thank you.
