Hi have superb 2011 with no sunroof. Notice leak at bonnet release handle when its raining. Had it at mechanic but couldnt find it. Now it also coming in at the A pillar above..both on passenger side. Any help be much appreciated. Thanks

Tried everything and my mechanic said could be a wiring issue somewhere. Best about it now can't get anyone to look at it😔😔

Hi All!! Looking for advice.....same issue with my skoda superb 2.0 170 2011....mechanic changed all senors but still keeps going into limp mode, was able to reset and drive for couple days and then would come back on and now comes on straight away. mechanic think could be electrical issue but by god am finding it hard for anyone to look at it.

Hi appreciate the feed back. Sorry I meant when I reset the fault it makes i click like somebody flicking a switch then glowplug light comes back on then limp mode. Had at 2 different mechanics. Nightmare

Hi guys any advice on this. I read the posts on this thread and am having exact same problem with my skoda superb 2011 2.0 170. Glowplug light and light mode. Mechanic thought was sensors and that didn't work. He was baffled and everything was pointing him to the actuator and that didn't work. I was able to reset faults and drive for couple of days but light would cone back on. Now it comes on straight away when I hit reset code but I hear like and clicking noise in engine and glowplug light come on straight away.

Been clearing codes all the time. No joy . Normally goes into limp mode as soon as I press accelerator. What does cycle the ignition mean??

guys you wouldnt believe that dam car today......was lying at my work for 4 days there until mechanic today.. battery was dead and when i jump started it the glowpulg light didnt come on.....dpf light had been on from last day..(thinking coz was driving in limp mode)......was able to drive it a regen dpf and so i left at mechanics then with no lights on at all....anyone have any new ideas for what this could be?

Sorry think he said he that aswell. am not a mechanic but heard him say pressure and leaks. am hoping now when 2nd eye gets looking it can get sorted. coming up to 2 months off the road

update on car.....took to mechanic with cable and laptop and fault was showing map sensor...booked in to get looked at ......but phone my mechanic that had been looking at it to ask what all he done,,,,,,he said change map sensor, boost valve....he still think actuator and he said he check all sensor by removing and checking then faults on computer to make sure they working

Hi what issue were you having with car that you needed to change map sensor??

Guys i seen my mechanic computer and he pulled it from a padded box. Am sure it wasn't a mickey mouse toy lol. Gettong a second opinion. Hope it helps. I hate cars!!! Lol

Yes he did. He changed glowplugs, sensors. Boost valve and few other things. Cant remember exactly what he said. He just said he lost now. Hopefully 2nd opinion will help. Would it be possible loose wire or something simple?

Guys update on car. Mechanic had it 7 weeks at his yard. He said evening was pointing towards actuator. I got one on ebay for him but it only working for about a mile. ....New one was costing £200. He said it might not guarantee fault. He put old actuator back as I was send part back and the car drove for bout 30 mile then glowplug lights came on again. I've took car back now as he baffled and doesn't look what to do. Now looking a second opinion
