Karoq Family Pack
Evening All, does anyone know plse if the Family Pack includes what I can only class as blinds on the rear windows? I can see that said Pack on the Kodiaq does, so hoping it's the same for Karoq!? Many thanks Andrew

Karoq driver's footwell
Cheers! That's a shame tbh! Only a few days till I can finally test-drive, here's hoping!!

Karoq driver's footwell
So not even one Karoq owner can answer that?? :(

Karoq driver's footwell
Good afternoon All, quickie I hope, does the SE L trim (DSG) come with a resting block to the right of the accelerator pedal for your right foot? I'm in the process of getting a Karoq, and comes in very handy with my current Golf Mk 7, eg. when using Cruise Control.. Many thanks Andrew

Virtual cockpit
Very interesting comments, thank you!! Are you saying therefore that practically speaking there isn't any great reason to have VarioFlex rear seats? Id want to use the uneven part for suitcases btw.. Also, is there much in it regarding ride quality plse? Between Edition and SE L I mean, sorry..

Virtual cockpit
All good points, cheers, I'm coming from a Golf R, Mk 7, with 19s, so I'm sure (and hoping) that whatever trim i choose that the ride is softer lol!!?? I think with the varioflex rears that you can put all 3 right up behind both front seats, and that might well be a game- changer for us in terms of space..

Virtual cockpit
Cheers, I'm having a test-drive in both an SE L and Sportline on December 5th, with a view to then buying a 'stock' Karoq on the 7th, so still complete undecided which trim I'll opt for!? The SE L trim will have (from stock available) VC, heated windscreen, family pack, traffic sign recognition and space saver wheel! The Sportline has a few more bells and whistles as standard, but will have VC and heated windscreen! Just not sure if the more expensive Sportline (c.£1000) is worth the additional money!? The varioflex would, i think, come in very handy when my wife and I go on our UK golfing holidays.. I guess it will all hang on the test-drives lol!?

Virtual cockpit
Perfect, thanks for confirming.. On a slightly different topic, apologies, how are you finding the pan roof thus far plse? Any niggles, squeaks, leaks etc, or are you really glad you've got it? Cheers Andrew

Virtual cockpit
Hi Folks, hopefully will be an easy one this but can somebody plse advise if maps/route can be displayed on the virtual cockpit from both the Amundsen and Columbus infotainment systems, or just the latter? Many thanks Andrew

A New MY21 Karoq Sportline owner!
Cheers, you should try Comfort Mode, see what difference it really makes?

1.5 TSI Edition
How odd, because every time I checked DRD in recent days, the price was always the same.. The discount through Carwow works out more than 5k anyway, and Kodiaq just too big for our needs... That said, I'm likely to choose a stock car, and that's part of the deal I think in this case! Either that or risk buying totally new, paying more in taxes/duty, and waiting up to 6 months..
-
1.5 TSI Edition
I think what's happened (and I did this earlier too lol) was accidentally select the SE L DSG, with VC, as that matches exactly the figure you quoted above... So you got nearly 7k off a new 1.5 Edition last year??

A New MY21 Karoq Sportline owner!
Hi, I'm hopefully having a test-drive in at least one of the trims in a few weeks!! How are you finding the ride on 19" wheels??
-
1.5 TSI Edition
Hmmm, where you getting £25875 from plse? When I do it, comes up at just over £27k on DTD... You sure you're quoting on Edition 1.5 DSG with virtual cockpit? Andrew

1.5 TSI Edition
Wow, was that new?? What sort of discount did you get there lol??

1.5 TSI Edition
Hi, reference p/ex I've been offered £18k for my early 2016 R, so, again, I think a reasonable deal! WBAC not giving me valuation in last week or so but gave me £17300 back on 20th October! That said, offered me £18300 back mid-September.. I'm sure I could potentially get more selling privately, maybe another £1000, but what with covid, not sure i want to run that risk, or, indeed go through the hassle etc of selling privately.. Still time of course as any potential purchase is still at least 3 weeks away lol, and tbf to the dealer they've told me they don't care how I pay the £26,800, and have welcomed me selling my R in any way whatsoever.. Got the £26800 through Carwow, cheapest offer, and local, and equals discount of 16% over list price, but just thought I'd ask you fine peeps if that's a good discount these days!? Haven't bought new for nearly 20 years now, so probably ignorant to buying new cars in the 21st century, and ways to haggle for more lol!? Age old debacle of course with similarly loaded SE L costing even more than £26800 Edition, so hoping I've been offered a good deal here.. BR Andrew

1.5 TSI Edition
Evening All, some of you may have read my ramblings on another post on here about the SE L! However, just had a potential spanner thrown in the works!! My local dealer has offered me a new 1.5 TSI Edition, DSG, only additional option being the virtual cockpit!! Anyway, £26,800, plus 1st two services free, and a full tank of fuel lol (key)!! I think that's a pretty decent price but what do I know!? Is that price good peeps plse? Many thanks in advance Andrew Ps. They are accepting my Golf R as part-ex, so most contribution coming from that..

DCC
Ahh OK, so same crater wheels but different tyres??
-
DCC
Surely the wheels on the Edition and SE L are pretty much the same??
-
DCC
Maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised when I go for a test-drive, and I'll ensure it's a Karoq with 19s lol!! Can't imagine there will be much difference than the 18s, but time will tell i guess, and I've no doubt it will be softer than my current R lol!!
-
DCC
Hi, and I assume that the tyres on the new 19s for the SE L won't be very deep?? :(
-
DCC
DCC - Dynamic Chassis Control, ie. Adjustable suspension.. I assume that you HAVE to have the 19s? Can you not ask them to save themselves some money and put on 18s lol??

DCC
Good evening All, I am potentially (don't laugh) trading in my Golf Mk 7R for a nearly new (or new) 1.5 Karoq SEL in the coming weeks! My wife and I both play golf lots, so need something spacious, but also comfortable; my days of boy-racing are fading quickly lol!!! I have done LOADS of research and seriously contemplating the Karoq! Anyway, just found out that the car will likely have 19" wheels (I did think 18s), so worried now the ride will not be much better than my current R, which is also on 19s! I do have DCC, love the car to bits, but want more comfort now!! I can't have a test-drive for another 3 weeks still of course, but am I worrying over nothing, ie the ride will be much more comfortable than my R? OR, am I likely to need DCC once more for the additional comfort we want? Apologies for the spiel, I'm just worried that we might have to go back to the drawing board now again!! :( Cheers Andrew
