USB ports current?
Yeah, I am interested in knowing the amps too,as my S20fe is having a real hard time charging when plugged in, it barely gains 10% per hour. And wandering how to solve this issue. I checked a few cables, including original and to no avail

Chassis setting in individual profile
I don't think it does anything if you have not specced dcc. I specced the mode choice only and when I choose sport it stiffens the wheel a bit, makes throttle response better and it changes the behavior of the AC

Difference between SEL and SEL First Edition
I think that First editions all came with Columbus, for free. At least the equivalent trim level here was like that, I foolishly pushed to get my car in production before week 47 to get the sat nav, but... I am not sure that this was a good decision considering all the faults first edition has. Not sure whether >week 47 cars have it better either.

Faults reported to dealer
That is weird. Have you paid for remote access? My car has it bundled for free for 1 year, but if not it is like 60 eur or something.

USB STICK NOT REGOGNIZE
I believe that there is a list of supported USB standards in the manual, which you can download from your country's official website for Skoda. A friend's 5008 was having trouble with USB 3.0, but was working well with USB 2.0

Faults reported to dealer
Hey, Regarding lock/unlock on app - do you lack the two circles, or does it tell you that this is not available for you? The two circles are located on the tab where you can see whether the car is locked/unlocked. If you have them, but upon clicking get an "error" - then they have to register your driver's license in the portal and enable it for you. I did that today, in Bulgaria it is as complex as it can go, as the dealer here has made up a process to require authorization from the lease company and also requires a 5EUR payment... silly, but true.

Wireless android auto
I will be getting an S20 soon, so I'll have no other choice but reset to defaults, however have you been able to connect to the MK4's unit? If you have, do you get the same notification that you must use USB?

Wireless android auto
Here is what is showing on my Octavia's screen when I tap Android auto. I read the manual and, to make things weirder, it says that connecting Android auto wirelessly works on Android version 5 and above. I really would be glad if someone who was able to have this working would record a video.

New steering wheel needed
It sounds like they're trying to cover up for a problem that a friend of mine has, also a member of this forum. The steering wheel will start to make squeaky sounds, my friend's car started doing it at about 1000km. and they ordered a new steering column for him, I guess packed with the steering wheel itself. I know it sounds too conspiracy theorist, but it is weird I've seen this report in the forum here and have a friend with it, then suddenly buttons may not work.. Anyway, it is good they're being proactive. Sincerely, Plamen

Wireless android auto
Hello, I tried hooking up my car to a friend's Galaxy S20 just now and it did not work. Is it possible for someone to take a photo of the screen that comes up when you choose Android auto for the connection? For me it says that a cable connection is required. Do you guys have such notification?

Wireless android auto
Hey, So I tried with a Huawei device with Android 10 on my car, but the infotainment keeps telling me that I NEED the usb cable in order for android auto to work, and that is regardless of what phone I try. I also tried with Samsung S8 and still failed miserably, considering it was with Android 9 on it. Is it possible that someone shows this working with the setup and screen showing while connecting? That would be very helpful to me and possibly many others! Thanks in advance!

KESSY
Hi, When the dealer was handing over the car to me a couple of weeks ago he said that the key will emmit the signal only if it is moving. If no movement is sensed for 40sec it will sleep. Nothing in the manual though.

Simply Clever extras - or maybe not!?
This is a tablet holder. It is not meant to be mounted on your front dash, but with the thingy on the left it can be attached on the headrest for a passenger on the back, or like the member above me mentioned - between the cupholders in the rear seat armrest. The bin is definitely not on the pic, it is a piece of plastic that is mounted in the door, check whether they haven't mounted it for you.

Adaptive cruise control retrofit feasibility and analogue dials
So, I contacted Skoda in the Czech Republic and they turned me down to call the local dealership, which is both good and bad. It is good as they did not say it is completely impossible, but the local Skoda dealership is far from helpful. So, if anyone outside Bulgaria can give their dealership a call and ask if the ACC can be added post production - that would be really helpful!

Rear view mirror - auto dimming?
I wanted that option too, but it required side assist AND driver side memory seat.. That totaled to about 800 pounds, so I skipped it.

Adaptive cruise control retrofit feasibility and analogue dials
I managed to reach my sales rep finally and he knows nothing about it. He says that it is unlikely, but I do not trust him. I was trying hard to find out how it works with VW as there is a button on the steering wheel there too, so I wander if you order the car with the button, but it does nothing or the button is not there and you engage the ACC in a different way and set the distance via software only. But VW's user manuals are accessible only with a VIN of the car, so I hit a dead end. Only time will tell, but so far - things are not looking good. I am trying to acquire a contact in Skoda to ask directly.

Adaptive cruise control retrofit feasibility and analogue dials
I got to thinking and checked again... They changed it. Apparently now, for the new cars, you can order it separately. I hope this means a software update is possible, but I doubt it, because when you have ACC you have a separate lever on the left hand-side which controls all of the cruise functions, plus a button on the steering wheel to set the distance. The price list is different from 2 months ago, when I was ordering my car. This 8T8 option was not there at the moment, now it is. I also tried calling my sales rep to ask if I can add it to the car, but apparently once they sell you the car they don't care to answer anymore. Still.. hope remains.

Adaptive cruise control retrofit feasibility and analogue dials
Hey there, Happy to see a fellow from the same corner of Europe. I was thinking the exact same thing when I was ordering my MK4, but then I used the configurator. It forces you to add another type of steering wheel that has the button apparently. So I would say, sadly - No. Otherwise I would add it. It makes sense that the radar is slightly different either. No idea on the analogue dash. I think this pic is preprod, from when the car was still in testing.
