  1. Yes, worth it. Especially for the auto handbrake and ACC as standard, but only if it's a DSG.
  2. I agree that the Octavia is much more comfortable and refined, in 1.5 DSG eTec form. I've just swapped but wish I hadn't !! The Octavia was also incredibly economical. The Karoq will be going at the earliest opportunity.
  3. Mine has been on 'Software update in progress' for the last week. How can this system be so bad?!?!? I'm assuming it's not actually working and updating anything.
  4. Just looking at the specs on an a '21 SE Technology and it states: 'SmartLink wireless for Apple and wired for Android' Is this correct? Does wireless Android Auto not work on this model? Thanks in advance!
  5. That seems low. I'm averaging about 42MPG in a 1,5 eTEc. I can get between 620-660 miles out of a full tank on a long run. A bit more if I take it easy 😁
  6. I've just done exactly the same thing with a Mini 2 and the same cable. Works a treat, thanks for the heads up! I'm still not sure if the cam connects via Bluetooth for the live view and if it clashes at all with wireless Android Auto and my Galaxy smar****ch - will see how it goes.
  7. Unhelpful? Google/Waze is always up to date. Don't you have to manually update the built in nav maps if you want camera locations or other POI's? You can't do that when you are out and about. Unless I've totally missed the point (very likely) 😁
  8. Just use Google Maps/Waze. Makes life so much easier?
  9. Got 1969 and give it a good soak test on a 3 hour drive home after collecting the car. It's nice and slick and never missed a beat with Android Auto connected wirelessly. Early days I know, but looks promising.
  10. £34K for a 1.5 e-TEC Sportline!
  11. I did ask to have the firmware updated to the latest version, but apparently they do this anyway on all used cars. I'm buying from Wings in Peterborough and they seem to get excellent reviews. (Fingers crossed) EDIT: Shouldn't be on 1969 now?
  12. It's the 1.5 mean machine 😀
