Thank you both. I will check the rear door seals, i would never of thought to look there ! My VRs is a 2014 estate, so as Gaz says the earlier model was prone to reports of this. Sunroof water is running clear yes, I poured boiling water plus fairy liquid down the front holes,also put a curtain wire down both this afternoon. I’ll also have a look to see if there are holes under the back of sunroof near the glass but I don’t think there are. Door seals especially rear passenger side which is shown in the photo above seems the most likely culprit.This was as if a bucket of water was emptied in there ! At the moment I have her parked with both passenger wheels up on the kerb. Will be a few days until I can investigate further. Will let you know the outcome . Many Thanks guys.

Howdy ! Octavia mk3 vrs estate w sunroof 2nd day in a row (very heavy rain last night) Found this mess 2 days ago. Rug doctor sucked most of it up,wetter in the back. Thought it would be all dried out today when I went to put the mats back in. Even worse! Things I’ve done the other day - Poured boiling water n fairy down the small sunroof holes,a curtain wire down both too, Removed the glove box and pollen filter is bone dry Lifted the scuttle panel on the windscreen passenger side,poked where the sunroof channel ends inside scuttle panel,no debris I can see. Antifreeze level a bit low but normal. Heavy heavy rain last night, didn’t drive the car for days so it’s a coming from upstairs issue. Now parked up on the kerb with both psssenger wheels on kerb. Another 3 full Rug Doctor wet vac containers of water sucked up again today. Any thoughts please ? Thank you

Note to self * DO NOT LEAVE MY GENUINE HEXv2 vcds in my Audi TT in Uk. Here in Ireland with my MQB vrs Skoda estate,the borrowed Chinese clone ****e will spit it out. TPMS code cleared with Snap On at a local mechanics for €40. This will accept and update the genuine article only.Heres what shows on Chinese crap and cannot be corrected.Also the “Set “ function will not show on the touchscreen,I presume until a full Autoscan and clear all fault codes has been accomplished,which it won’t with a knock off. Just charged up my varta n70 with less than 3 months on it to 13v. No joy from the infotainment as yet …. Amazon digital tyre gauge just now arrived so I’m gonna get them all exact as the petrol flap for my 18’s then I’ll go onto your suggestions guys,ref the software 👍👍

Hi yes and Thank you,yes “Tyres” does show up,I touch screen that and only further option is “ winter Tyres” and I could choose to have a 60mph speed limit option for “ winter Tyres” that’s it,nothing else,no other options

All I do have is the ABS long code and todays long code saved to the desktop to copy and paste for “ New Code” but they are both the same long code unfortunately- me thinking I was being a detective 😩
