Mpm222 u need to check for coolant leaks I found a coolant leak at the hose on the coolant temperature sensor housing only a little 1 not noticeable run ur finger under the hoses see if its wet I drove today with no issues

I'm going to have a look this weekend I have cleaned the maf but still doing it it's so annoying I've had 6 mk1s 1.8t and never had this problem thanks for the reply

Have u never had it looked at or could they not find anything wrong I think I'll look at the pedal sensor when I have time

Hi every1 I've had a problem with my idle wen I start the car it goes up and once it warms up they go down to the normal position but soon as I start moving it goes up to around 1000 I touch the throttle pedal it goes back to normal but start moving again and same thing so I put my foot under the pedal to lift it and the revs go back to normal am I right in saying its not retracting properly or is it the pedal sensor I cleaned the throttle body but the same thing it's octavia vrs mk1 any help would be good thanks

Well it wasn’t a straight swap 1 engine in and 1 out I had to strip the full engine down and move it to the bam engine in the end I was left with just the block from the auq wiring loot was a little different to some say straight swap but it wasn’t ye I should of taken more pics from start to finish and if I can help any1 along the way with there’s Id be happy to

Nice1 mate it was hard work to do taking me 6 days on my own and on the drive way in the rain 🤣🤣🤣 but it was fun along the way

Thanks buddy the inlet on the engine isn’t face the gear box but it is a little different from the auq intake manifold

Hi guys This as probably been asked many time but it it a straight swap from auq to bam I’m keeping k03s turbo just I have a bam engine with new belt and pump and my auq is ducked it’s it just the case of plugging everything in to the auq set up i will be keeping the 5 speed box in it to sorry if this as been asked before thanks in advance

Hello as anyone had a problem with there rear fog light only turning off wen the lights r off it comes on when I put the normal lights on I’ve changed the bulb but still the same anyone any idea or help things I could try thanks
