Columbus/update queries
The MIB3 system has its own updates. Best to go to the Skoda website and type in your VIN code of the car to see if an update is available.

As I mentioned 2 folders and 1 file. Not 3 files. But indeed not the zip file itself

Options for adding wireless Apple CarPlay?
Curious to know more about the experience. Convinced it works, but what are you experiencing as benefits or downsides vs wired? I bought a short coiled lightning cable so easy to put the cable in, but also easy to close the lid. And I dont always want to use CarPlay. Sometimes I prefer BT connectivity for use of internal satnav synced with contacts. So what benefit does it bring, besides not connecting it? Is the device in the way of the QI wireless charger of the car?

Columbus/update queries
Make sure you open the ZIP file and move the 2 folders and 1 file to the SD card. Dont put the whole ZIP file on the SD card. SD card should look similar to this: (the md5 hash file has no value for the upgrade and doesnt need to be on there) There should be 2 folders starting with MIB2..... and a file. Also there are known issues with doing on a Mac and some odd hidden files staying behind. Although the progress may not be properly visible. You should at least see there is an update on the SD card. (What the system doesnt do is check whether the update on the SD card is newer than whats installed. Even after completing the update, it still tells me there is an update on SD card. Taking the SD card out resolves that problem.)

Moisture in Full Matrix LED headlights
The clever part in Simply Clever is probably the self-cleaning feature of the inside of the headlights I suppose. We just didnt think of that ;)

Moisture in Full Matrix LED headlights
Xenon lights get a lot warmer which helps removing the moisture. Since LED lights dont warm up that much I doubt it will be the same. I guess I need to park the car in the sun in de summer.

Moisture in Full Matrix LED headlights
Thanks for the tip, but since the user manual even describes it as being normal, and some investigation shows dealers will tell you its normal and will not take any action. It really is a feature. You can find it in the manual at the lights, wiper sprayer section. On the first few pages in the little troubleshooting part.

Moisture in Full Matrix LED headlights
I guess the main problem is that good old fashioned head lights get warm when switched on and take care of all the moist stuck in the headlight body, but since full led headlights they simply dont get warm enough to clear. I am with you, expecting it to impact the light beam. You would expect it to be easy to make it water proof? Since its in the user manual, I guess it's a feature

Moisture in Full Matrix LED headlights
Apologies for opening this topic! It raised immediate concerns, but should have investigated this more. It is even in the manual that this does not cause any harm and is "to be expected" (I can post a screenshot of the manual page, but since it's in Dutch the value is somewhat limited.) In short: This is what Skoda believes is normal on these humid, cold days of the year. I thought this would even cause failure of MOT (Dutch equivalent: APK) but it doesnt seem to do so. That was with old cars.

Moisture in Full Matrix LED headlights
Hi all, I have noticed that my 1 year old MK3 with full matrix LED head lights (not sure if that's relevant, but better be as detailed as possible) has moisture in both headlights. The car is a year old. Its hard to clearly capture, but visible on both these pictures: Is that something that needs to be addressed? Or is that expected and "normal"? One 1 picture you see the "dots" (left headlight) and the other a big cloud near the center of the car (right headlight)

Enable automatic parking assist
That would simply answer the question. So odd that they dont offer the feature at all on the Sportline (and even if they did, that's too late now ) (For the record: When I say, they dont offer, that is in The Netherlands. It's funny to see differences of versions and options on those versions in different countries.)

Enable automatic parking assist
As far as I understand only the L&K version of the Superb comes with fully automatic parking assist. The Sportline edition has the camera with instructions for parking (which is also called parking assist to make it easier) and how to steer, but you have to do it yourself and after some practice the conclusion is: better just look at the camera and surroundings and steer your own way, because the instructions arent great to get into a parking place) It appears that all hardware required is already available on the car and it's a software choice not to have it enabled. (Correct me if I am wrong.) So I wonder if it would be possible to enable the feature afterwards in the car by a change of software. (The car has a camera, sensors front and back, lane assist (which does the steering for you.) Even my 2016 Ford Focus fully parked the car by itself. The one feature this Superb is missing.

Superb MKIII owners register
Got the Skoda Superb Sportline 1.5 TSI DSG7 Red Velvet Pano roof - 19" wheels - Full LED Martrix lights - Canton audio - Alcantara seats (heated) - Electrical seats with memory - Full options Love the virtual cockpit and having the sat nav on the dashboard. Also great to have personal profiles with keys. My wife opens the car and the seat adjusts to her preference. Normally that means I wouldnt be able to get in, but if I open the car with my key the seat goes back into my position. The space is just such a luxury! We have a reversed baby seat in the car and in our Focus that meant the passenger seat had to be moved to the front quite a bit, not leaving any space to comfortably sit. It's hard to find things to complain about but after long consideration: 1. Why does the car have a full size gear stick for a DSG gearbox? (I know, it was a stretch to have something to complain about) 2. There is a bug in the Culumbus system: sometimes when connecting the phone to CarPlay the sat nav disappears on the virtual cockpit. (It should when you start using sat nav on your phone, but then a message appears the internal sat nav will be switched off, but that is not the case when you just connect the phone and ONLY the sat nav on the virtual cockpit stops, but the Columbus screen itself continues..)

Hi from The Netherlands
Hi all, First time Skoda driver here. Got myself a late 2019 (facelift) Skoda Superb Combi Sportline, 1.5 TFSI DSG7 in Red Velvet, pretty much full options: 19" Full LED lights, front & back Pano roof Canton audio etc. Not using it much for work right now, but its such a treat driving this car. Looking forward to some fun trips with the car!
