sorry no, paid someone who was experienced, I am new to this brand and DSG. used local garage for last 30 years, he lets me buy my own parts and just charges for fitting. I found the 18 inch themisto alloys a bit too firm changed to 17 inch westwood BBS split rims much more comfortable

I bought my first ever skoda/superb/dsg box/ last christmas I have been driving automatics for over 30 years and this feels much the same. As a precaution I did a DSG oil change. Mine is the 2012 168 hp and for a large roomy car it shifts. would buy another

thanks for response as JR said it was the passenger airbag, I should have switched off before removing sat nav. local garage turned off the warning and everything back to normal now

thanks to this forum, I sorted the fault on my sat nav, it was the antenna at fault and an ebay purchase for a tenner sorted it out. I finished the install leaving the new magnetic one under the dash behind the sat nav, checked it worked then refitted everything. Only problem when I turned on the ignition a airbag warning came on, now got to figure out what I touched to bring that on! Will I have to take it to the main dealer to find out what went wrong?
