  1. Just recently purchased a new Karoq Sportline from Nepean Motor Group in Penrith (Sydney suburb) fantastic process and zero complaints. My local dealer is in Orange some come the time it will be interesting to see how that process goes.
  2. Nice looking car mate and nice to see a few Aussies here in the collective Skoda forum. I'm in Central West NSW and just recently purchased a Karoq Sportline. Love it and it sure beats any other vehicle I've owned. All we need now is a sub forum for all the Aussies 😀
  3. Thanks for the heads up, I might just use a type a to c cable that way I can store the thumb drive somewhere out of the way. I acknowledge you covered off on the format style of music, but do you know if ITunes uses any of the above mentioned formats ? Reason being all my music is stored on that (back in the day when I could use my old ipods in my previous car)
  4. Or a Dremel in the right hands 😀
  5. I didn't know that re the cup holder part and my bad re the spelling error. Thanks mate.
  6. Of only they did one for the Koroq.
  7. Thanks for this information I do appreciate it. Does the mib3 have a size limit ? I just found a Scandisk with 128gb size which would be ideal given my music collection.
  8. It also appears Apple might finally be going over to type C connectors. I vaguely recall reading an article online that the EU was trying to push Apple to go over to type C connectors, this was under the premise to help mitigate excess cables and also help with waste for the environment.
  9. Thanks SurreyJohn, I wasn't aware but did know the my21 were fitted with USB C type connectors. Out of interest can we use these to play music through ? Ie ipod with type c cable or even a thumb drive ? I am aware I can play stored music on my phone (via bluetooth/android/apple connect) but sometimes that's just a pain in the rear end.
  10. Random question for the members here. My model year 21 koroq Sportline wasn't fitted with a CD player nor sd card slots. Was this a change Skoda did across the board or something that is region specific and relative to cost/s. Located in Australia. Thank you
  11. Well arent you a charming person. Full of snide remarks and copious amounts of shade for good measure. Come to Australia and try your attitude re km/h or mph, id gladly contest the issue. Meanwhile ill walk away from someone who appears to be full of there own alledged self importance.
  12. Well given in Australia we use the metric system. 5 or 8kmh, or 5 or 8mph. The average person wouldn't be able to tell the difference. When observing if said person didn't know a test was being conducted
  13. In Australia thats not necessarily the case, however 17 years in law enforcement with multiple qualifications im deemed an expert and as such the courts take my qualifications for what they are. Also as a qualified mechanic I've had cases where the courts/crown also take my qualifications and deem me an expert. Anything else you would like to quiz me on or dispute ? 😀
  14. All I was saying is that a person of reasonable firmness wouldn't be able to tell the difference between 5km/h and 8km/h. I wasn't being argumentative at all. My line of work means I work in road related matters and hence know alot about speed and speed limits.
  15. How would said land owner know you are doing 5 or 8 ? Given said land owner wouldn't have an approved speed measuring device, police wouldn't get involved because it's on private property etc etc. Basically said land owner would be hard pressed legally enforcing said speed limit. Yes an inference is given you will follow the posted speed limit, however good luck trying to enforce it.
  16. Thanks @silentjeff I'll play around with mine and see how it goes. Seems like it's pretty even between iPhone and Android users
  17. Does yours have the recharge pad or you didn't go for that option ? Mine has the recharge pad hence why I don't use a cable or does using a cable give you easier access to your stored music etc ?
  18. What sort of noise are you hearing ? Mine makes a noise but id consider mine "normal"
  19. @DSL yes lucky we have two holders. I may just have to measure the base of the holder and go from that re my choice. 8oz isn't enough coffee though haha
  20. Thanks DSL, the one I'm looking at has a 70mm base, yes I can get a smaller one but thats not enough coffee for me lol https://au.madebyfressko.com/collections/coffee-cup/products/camino-coral this is the type im looking at getting

Hi Shaw, it's an amazing vehicle and I find myself looking at my car every available chance I get. I don't know what it is but there is a certain something about it I really love. I hope all is well on your side of the pond?

Yes my vehicle in Australia only has one fog light which is on the offside (driver steering wheel on the side side)
  23. This may have been spoken about previously but does any of the members here know what's the maximum diameter for a coffee Thermos to fit in the centre console ? Im looking at one Thermos with the base diameter of 7cm which then tapers up towards the lid. Sorry again if this has been mentioned previously in some other thread.

Thanks Jon, whilst its not even 12hrs of owning it, she is so amazing and certainly a step up from my now old Subaru XV/Crosstrek.
