Can I ask what price? Mechanic says €160 for pressure sensor one and €25each for the others. I'm based in Ireland.

Ya I'll grant you that, I do alot of short trips alright. Have to say I really like the car. Super fuel efficient, very roomy and comfy. Has the look of a saloon (which i like) but the practicality of a hatchback.

Ya and the annoying part is i have a 23 year old vw bora from new, it never has had glow plugs replaced or shocks. It has 160000 miles on clock This car has only 106000km and glow plug gone. Shock changed last year. Crazy

Hi Got and engine management light on car last Sat. Plugged obd in and got fault code PO673. Its a glowplug in cylinder 3. Is this the expensive pressure sensor one?

Car: 2012 Octavia 1.6cr tdi Hi bought my 1st Skoda in December. Had it 2 weeks and glow plug light came on. Well under warranty Skoda diagnosed faulty EGR and they replaced it. I notice it does regens regularly as the revs are higher and fan runs. The fix (EA189) was done on the car long before I bought it maybe 2018. I'd like to know should I get the fix reversed and how much would it cost approx. When Skoda replaced the egr in January I asked them about the dpf but they told me it was OK. Andrew

She's only a year out of date. Bought my 1st skoda in December 2012 tdi Octy. Saw new shape Octy in showroom and thought they really had upped the pace. With all these issues I might be wrong.

Hi I have a Colombus unit in my early 2012 Skoda Octavia Elegance HW version H61 SW version 3984 I bought this off ebay to update sat-nav. Has anyone tried to update their unit, I'm a bit apprehensive as I've heard horrors story's that units have been rendered useless after failed updating.

Tnks for that, bought it recently (Dec 2020) from a Skoda garage. Had to go back as egr needed replacement. Thankfully under warranty. Just happened to ask service guy and he looked it up on computer and informed me it hadn't dmf. He didn't say it had been changed and its not in service book. Its a nice car to drive very smooth but I'm comparing it to my old one which was an 02 VW Bora TDI pd. That car I still have and is unbreakable and never had any issues par serviceable parts.

Hi I drive a early 2012 Octavia II 1.6 Tdi cr. I was told in the Skoda garage where I bought it that it hadn't a DMF. Is that true?
