Adaptive Cruise Control bug
My car went in to today for an update from SW Version 1803 to 1896, one of the issues this update addresses is the driving on the left/right setting for the headlights and the ACC braking when overtaking. Not had much chance to try the ACC out as yet, but my other issues seem to be fixed. I've started a new thread about it here

At long last... SW Version 1896
TPI stands for Technical Product Information, it's what Skoda send to the dealers when there is a fix for a fault that they may encounter, this TPI covers the update to version 1896 from various (not all) older 17xx 18xx versions.

At long last... SW Version 1896
After almost a year of trying, Ive finally had the update to software version 1896 (from 1803) this is the large update that is supposed to fix all issues with ACC, headlights set to driving on the right etc. Too early to tell what it's fixed but the headlight setting is now correctly set to driving on the left at least. I also had the ACC bug, and the sat nav not saving any settings bug. Time will tell if they have been resolved.

The Fabled March 31st fix all
Mine is the same hardware and software version as yours, although I don't have that many issues, just the sat nav not saving any settings/destinations. I have a complaint open with Skoda UK and Bry have promised me some compensation when the issues are resolved, but they did tell me to complain to VWFS also which I haven't got round to yet. Good luck with your new one whenever it arrives ππΌ

So you've rejected the car and placed a new factory order? And you get to keep your current car until it is delivered?

RS petrol 2021, dcc or no dcc?
I have DCC on my petrol vRS and I think its brilliant. Sport mode is pretty harsh on bad roads but on better tarmac, really makes the car feel like it has a sporty heritage (you can even go a bit firmer than sport in the individual settings) Normal made is great for most everyday driving, and comfort will waft you along the motorway smoothly and help soak up the bumps on rough roads/dirt tracks if you ever find yourself on them. It's the only real option I specced and I'd say it's well worth it on the vRS in the UK with the 19's

Google maps directions displayed on Virtual Dash
You need to select the 'Route Guidance' option inside the speedo, not CarPlay However, it seems it doesn't work with your software version anyway unfortunately.

I don't keep my car key on my house keys for that very reason- Google maps directions displayed on Virtual Dash

As I'm having the common navigation problem regarding it not saving my home address or any other addresses/last locations, I have been using Google maps. At the weekend I went up to the Peak District, and found out by chance that if you have route guidance on in Google maps but with the announcements turned off, the the next instruction is shown on the virtual dash in much the same was as the Skoda nav does. It only works however, when you have the route guidance on either side of the virtual dash, as in inside the speedo or rev counter, it does not pop up at the top like with the Skoda nav (apart from when you first scroll to route guidance it seems to pop up briefly) Thought this might be of some use to those that weren't aware ππΌ- Sat Nav memory
I'm having the same issues, also on 1803, but I haven't tried using Laura and none of my previous destinations are saved. Skoda UK did tell me this in an email today: "They have advised that the Factory are currently working on a software update for the Infotainment System for the maps and for the ACC. Unfortunately, no time- scales when the software update will be released."- Delivery times?
The sat nav threw a bit of a wobbler earlier and decided I was at home, when I was actually about 10 miles away, but it righted itself eventually. Other than that it's been fine, I have given a it a bit of stick but trying to be gentle for the first 800 miles π€£- Delivery times?
Thanks very much. I am selfishly happy that it's not available anymore if I'm honest π Just DCC and the variable boot floor as options, very pleased with it- Delivery times?
And there we have it, ordered February 13th and picked up yesterday evening. So around 14 weeks in total which is pretty good I'd say.- Delivery times?
Haha yea I think they're desperate to close the deal before month end so they hit their targets, they've phoned me more times today alone than they have since I placed the order π€¦π½ββοΈπ Cheers pal, the problem this weekend will mostly be not being sober enough to drive it π but I should get some time with it on Saturday.- Delivery times?
Skoda HQ should be able to give you a status code that will tell you exactly where your order is in terms of build status, these are the codes and meanings for the UK but the should be the same bar the shipping codes 00 Without Production Week 10 With Production Week 20 With Production Order 30 In Transit From Factory 36 In Port of Exit not Released 38 In Port of Exit Released 39 Vehicle Shipped 40 UK Port 60 In Transit to Dealer 70 At Dealer- Delivery times?
My car finally arrived at the dealership yesterday evening after waiting 4 weeks for a boat to the UK, hopefully they'll have it it ready for me to collect tomorrow π- Delivery times?
They're just putting it down to social distancing measures causing a delay, I wonder if this new Indian variant is having an effect. What a different world we now live in. Make sure you get some pics up ππΌππΌππΌ- Delivery times?
Well my car is still in Emden waiting for a boat, been there since 23rd of April, so close and yet so far π€£ - Google maps directions displayed on Virtual Dash
