  1. I imagine your about to get a lot of replies from people that are having issues with the infotainment system and sat nav, but I believe they have mostly been resolved with the newly built cars so a factory order should be better. I have a vRS 245 DSG Estate on order with the DCC option. From the reviews the DCC is great and makes the ride on the 19's a lot smoother with the option of stiffening it up for a bit of a joy ride at times. I also got the first 2 services in for Β£169 so that's worth looking at. As I say mine is still on order so I can't comment on the way it drives
  2. Moon white for me, but I only can't have it because the wife said so 🀣
  3. You get mixed answers to that one, but I for sure wouldn't want to give them any cause to void your warranty. I dar say of you had a gearbox fault and had changed the wheels they would use that to get out of it. I'm going to ask the dealership what their views are when I pick mine up.
  4. Oh noooo, these are marketing pics from the respective companies πŸ‘πŸΌ I haven't even taken delivery of mine yet, so will be 4 years waiting for the warranty to expire before I can do anything like this and by then I'll probably be too old to care 🀣
  5. I had a quick look on their website at these in 19x8 (they are 20's in the pics) and they were €400 each 😳
  6. Nice! Be sure to share some pics πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌ
  7. I've seen Maxton kits on plenty of mk3's in the vRS owners Facebook group and they are well regarded. You have to drill holes for bolts and self tapping screws to fit them πŸ‘πŸΌ
  8. Yea I know you're spot on with that statement, but I thought it would be nice to hear some positives from those that are members from an enthusiasts perspective πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘πŸΌ
  9. So I understand the issues facing some MK4 owners and I'm in no way trying to diminish them, but are there any members out there not having all these issues and actually happy with their car? I have a vRS on order and I'm trying to look at the positives. Cheers all πŸ‘πŸΌ
  10. That's odd Skodev, I only placed my order on the 13tb Feb and I've already been given a provisional build week for the middle of April?
  11. Yep, exactly the same here, I've been watching videos of Estonians trying to put the power down in the snow and ice lately 🀣 Still got at least 3 months to wait πŸ€¦πŸ½β€β™‚οΈ
  12. Why are you unsure how long they will last?
  13. Hi all, Recently placed an order for an Octavia vRS Estate 245 DSG with DCC. Coming from a Leon FR SC it's about time I got a proper sized car with an appropriate amount of doors 🀣, looking forward to it πŸ‘ŒπŸΌπŸ˜
  14. Very refreshing to hear these comments 😊 I had already ordered my vRS on Feb 13th before I had read about these issues and it did make me worry I had made a bad decision (I'm pretty good at worrying about things in general πŸ˜‚) but it's nice to hear some positives. I'm hoping that as my car isn't scheduled to be built until April at least some of these issues would be fixed by then. However I'm also not fussed about manually dipping my headlights or switching the lane assist off if I need to, just looking forward to racing around with a wardrobe in the boot 😁
  15. I ordered a vRS Estate 245 DSG with DCC on Feb 13th and was told by the dealer that Skoda were advising a wait of 20-25 weeks which put it sometime in August. I had a call from the dealer on Saturday to say my order had been assigned a provisional build date of the middle of April so I could be getting it around the end of May. Quite a difference, the sales person even said it was frustrating for them as a lot of people are put off by the long wait times they advise, that aren't actually necessary
