Coasting
I can confirm that the car goes in "D" in "Normal mode" on my Karoq manufactured in March 2021. It usually happens if I drive on ACC at set speed around 40-50 km/h on a levelled road and then I pause the ACC with the lever (not pressing the brake). It does not work every single time, but it happens may be 30% of the time. I like coasting... this is how I was taught to drive manual - let it free roll to slow down by itself and only put it in gear on a downhill

Driver's side windshield wiper adjustment
Update on the wiper arm adjustment: I succeeded moving the arm a single spline from its original position - now it is no longer reaching the end of the windshield. The red line is my yesterday's adjustment that was way too close to the edge of the frame and the yellow line is the correction from today, which seems how the wiper arm should have been put together on the assembly line đ

Driver's side windshield wiper adjustment
I tried to adjust the arm few times (attempting to move just a single spline) and the minimum adjustment I manage to do still pushes the wiper to the edge of the A pillar (as predicted). It does not touch the A pillar when the car is stationary, but it might touch it at a greater speed. Here is a video of the end result with the wipers turned on at maximum speed - https://youtu.be/K-RQsXVkimI At the very least this wont work when there is snow fall, because there is no gap between the blade and the frame and the snow always builds up a bit. I might try again later to hit this mythical single spline, just in case I have moved it 2 splines right now đ¤ˇââď¸ At the very least, the windshield is very clean this way

Driver's side windshield wiper adjustment
I have a RHD Karoq and the driver side wiper meets the edge of the windshield at a slight angel when it operates. I think there are 2-3 cm extra space between the wiper (where it stops) and the edge of the windshield and I wonder is it possible to adjust it to travel a bit more during the wiping. Does it look the same for everybody else, is this normal? In the attached pictures you can see the mark where the wiper stops. I have a puller and I've seen videos on youtube how to take out and adjust the wiper arm, but I wonder is there any other (simpler) way - e.g. a screw somewhere that controls the travel and can adjust it couple of centimetres.

MY21 eSIM, Internet and Skoda-connect remote access
I live in Sweden, so the way everything works might be different for you, but I have Karoq MY 2021 and before that Octavia MY 2018 and I never had to install any sim cards or do anything to make Skoda connect work. In other words the car was already using a sim card installed from the factory and all I had to do is pay 500 SEK (~40 GBP) annually (after the first year) as a subscription fee to use the Skoda connect app and I had remote access to its data / status. With the Karoq I can lock / unlock it remotely which helps my anxiety

Predictive Cruise Control not available in your country
I live in Sweden and I have a Karoq that was built in week 51 of 2020 and it has PCC... and after a few weeks of trying to drive with it, I had to turn it off. Here are the reasons: - When the car approaches a roundabout, then it lowers its speed way too much and goes really slow around it. - It uses speed limit data from the camera above the mirror with conjunction of preloaded data for the segments of the public road network with specific speed limit (GPC + preloaded data), so sometimes you get wrong readings or the preloaded data is wrong (no idea why, since the data is publicly available in Sweden and compiled from the traffic agency and always accurate), so your car might speed up to 110 km/h when the actual speed limit is 90 km/h or the other way around - slow down way too much. - Going in a corner is also problematic, the car is very very pessimistic and slows down way too much. The moment when I finally decided I am turning off the PCC and I am just going by normal ACC and Travel assist was when I was exiting a highway with a slight turn onto a B-road and then at the end of the turn I switched on the PCC with a preset speed of 70 km/h and then the car decided to break heavily to around 50km/h because it thought I was still turning in the corner (when in reality I have just exited it). The speed limit of the turn was 60km/h and the car slowed down way less than this (~50km/h). I know I was speeding a bit, but please don't judge me way too hard. All these events occurred in the winter months. The traffic sign recognition did not work when there was a ton of snow, so may be it just read the speed limit signs in my area wrongly and carried the information with it and later used it when the weather got better and I started using PCC more. Or may be the system is just bad and needs more development / updates. Idk what the reason is, but the fact is that I have turned it off and I feel better without it I still have traffic sign recognition turned on, but it is just displayed in the VC as a piece of information for the driver. May be the car will "learn" what the correct speed limits are or how fast it can go on a roundabout after a while and I can try again in a few months - you never know đ¤ˇââď¸. Anyway, don't feel like you have missed some ground breaking innovation, but I understand your curiosity

Using Apple Play on a Karoq
You can use Google maps with Car play, but sadly there are no arrows in the VC. So only Apple Maps on Car play has this integration with the VC (similar to Google maps with Android auto)

Using Apple Play on a Karoq
It works like a charm. I use Spotify and since the Car Play is wireless I don't have to touch anything and my music starts playing right away when I get in the car. Also there is some integration between Apple Maps and the VC - I can set a route on Apple Maps and then I get the arrows and instructions in the VC using the standard VC navigation interface from Skoda (so may be you need to buy VC + Amundsen with navigation for it to work). Considering how cra... subpar the Skoda navigation is compared to Apple Maps or Google Maps, this integration with Car Play is quite refreshing and useful to see.

It works with Apple Carplay as well. I have the standard navigation on Amundsen with wireless Apple Carplay / Android auto and if I set route on my Apple Maps then the VC shows the direction arrows and displays its map. I have no idea if this would have worked if I didn't have the ordinary Skoda navigation. MIB 3 seems like a decent system that integrates well with Carplay - it also plays Spotify right away when I start the engine through Carplay without me having to connect cables or press any buttons. Very impressive.
