Real world mpg for the 1.5 engine?
gerry what i noticed on the test drive was that there is not much room inside, no decent size places to put things and and if you are a bit heavy and over 6ft this car is not for you, but reliability wise you wont get much better, and the 1.8 does 60 plus mpg.

i know what you mean mate i drop me lad off at work everyday its a 15 mile round trip, it gives me something to do i have took early retirement so i am mostly bored ****less.

thanks for that mate i think realistically its somewhere between 35-45, i suppose thats not to bad for a big lump of a motor .

i have seen and read that the rear camera because its near the fin aerial it interferes with it, some one most probably will give you advice how to get round that problem....michael.

that's the car yes i went today but they wouldn't let me take it out on the open road so i left i couldn't be bothered getting the keys and sitting in it my heart wasn't in it i really want an estate i just wanted to see what a 1.5tsi is like.

hi i asked about fully loaded because 2 or 3 times a year the family go traveling/camping, BUT most of the time i am on my own, what economy mpg are you getting when you are on your OWN?

well i have been driving my berlingo van for 5 years that's a manual, but before that i had a hilux invincible with the auto box that had some serious creep but it was nice drive, long as the clutch pedal on this skoda isn't to tuff i will be ok, but for people commuting in slow traffic everyday an auto is a must.

oh right, there is a superb saloon in silver 1.5 act sti 70 plate but it has a MANUAL transmission, it has about 70 miles on it for £16,700 in road range 6 miles from me , and you can drive on there private road, its on autotrader , what dou you think?

gerrycan, i drove a corolla estate hybrid with the 2.0 engine and that has got to be the smoothest gear change in any car in the world toyota make the best gear boxes, all this rubbish about elastic bands in the gearbox, check out the engineering videos on youtube regarding this car, very impressive, carnt you get the estate in oz mate.

sasha what are these kangaroo issues? and with me now retired i only drive about 3-4 k a year so i think a petrol engine might be better suited to me even tho i like the diesel torque.

hi all there is a 2020 skoda superb 1.5 tsi with next to no miles on the clock just up the road from me so i have booked a test drive tomorrow, question is this how gutless is this engine in such a big car?
