  1. hi what is the name of the obd11 you have ..michael.
  2. gerry what i noticed on the test drive was that there is not much room inside, no decent size places to put things and and if you are a bit heavy and over 6ft this car is not for you, but reliability wise you wont get much better, and the 1.8 does 60 plus mpg.
  3. the only thing i would take to the dealer is a baseball bat

  15. phil that's really good news as there's no hills near me, i am going to ask them if i can take it for 24 hours, but i doubt they will let me do that LOL.

  17. well i have been driving my berlingo van for 5 years that's a manual, but before that i had a hilux invincible with the auto box that had some serious creep but it was nice drive, long as the clutch pedal on this skoda isn't to tuff i will be ok, but for people commuting in slow traffic everyday an auto is a must.
  18. oh right, there is a superb saloon in silver 1.5 act sti 70 plate but it has a MANUAL transmission, it has about 70 miles on it for £16,700 in road range 6 miles from me , and you can drive on there private road, its on autotrader , what dou you think?
  19. gerrycan, i drove a corolla estate hybrid with the 2.0 engine and that has got to be the smoothest gear change in any car in the world toyota make the best gear boxes, all this rubbish about elastic bands in the gearbox, check out the engineering videos on youtube regarding this car, very impressive, carnt you get the estate in oz mate.
  20. sasha what are these kangaroo issues? and with me now retired i only drive about 3-4 k a year so i think a petrol engine might be better suited to me even tho i like the diesel torque.

  22. ok mate thanks for that so its fine for 3 people with camping gear going up hills in wales or the lakes do you think?
