  1. LOL, do you think that they have different levels of scan for different prices? I have seen Skoda scans for £107 at Marshall Skoda in Barnstaple 60 miles away.
  2. Yes, Murray Skoda in Plymouth
  3. They said they did how would I know. they charged me £60. I would imagine if they didn't and it was found out there reputation would be down the drain.
  4. I have had it disconnected for 3 weeks already and they didn't pick that up on their scanner,
  5. I am just going to disconnect from the battery and see how that goes. Skoda advised me not to.
  6. Talking of Health Inspection, the technician falsified it. on the 1st October I was given a health report and again today 28th October, Both inspections gave the same type tread depth for all 4 tyres. But on the 5th October I had both front tyres changed. He never bothered to check them today or he would have noticed the new tyres. I have already sent them an e-mail
  7. Yes, it is very frustrating. I assume they have the best diagnostic equipment money can buy and they still cannot diagnose the fault. They just tell me to monitor it which I did and even gave them the error on the vehicle status. I wish I knew someone with the expertise to diagnose this problem.
  8. They can not diagnose the fault that is the problem even though I took a photo of the error message on the vehicle status ERROR: Stop-Start System.
  9. Just got the car back from Skoda, just like the first time it went in a couple of weeks ago, there Diagnostics machine did not pick up any fault codes or historic codes. Was told it was not a good idea to disconnect the stop start function. from the battery. Just have to keep pushing the A button instead. No solution.
  10. Car booked in for next Thursday.
  11. We have been together 36 years and it's been the best 2 weeks of my life hahaha
  12. You did, I kicked the wife out lol
  13. I'll just take it back to the dealership. Thanks for your input
  14. This is the 2nd time this has happened in three weeks. I am pretty sure this error code would have come up the first time but my wife restarted the car before calling me. I didn't get a code on my scanner and neither did the Skoda dealership on there diagnostic equipment. I will call them tomorrow. I will also disconnect the connector on the battery.
  15. Yes, the battery was coded. Wife still at work so will disconnect at the battery tomorrow. When you restart the car the next time the EPC light goes out as normal and the error message is not there. If I disconnect the connector I will only know if that has worked if it doesn't happen again. I took almost 3 weeks for the problem to re-occur. Doesn't disconnecting the connector permanently disable stop start?
  16. Had the battery changed and alternator checked. It has happened again car started juddering. After the Skoda garage said they couldn't find anything wrong, I got my wife to take a picture of the Vehicle Status and it came up ERROR: start-stop system. Any ideas? will have to con tact Skoda garage tomorrow.
  17. Thanks for all the help
  18. The enduroline battery works for you If I need a battery I will get one of these
  19. There are no lights on anymore or warnings. When I started the car after my wife had the problem the EPC light came on as usual but went out when I turned the engine on. It's all very puzzling. The main dealer cannot find any faults or codes even historical ones
  20. But what is DIN. As you can tell I am not knowledgeable on cars, now brain surgery that's a different thing. LOL
  21. Does that make a difference? The battery does indeed say Moll. So it must be 5 years old
  22. Thanks my battery says 12v 59ah 320A DIN AND 640 A underneath. That battery will be fine?
  23. What are the specs of your AGM battery and where did you get it from?
  24. First thing I will do is get the battery checked. Does the garage code in the battery or can you do it yourself?
