  1. Thank you Pete and funnily enough I was changing my bearing on my MK1 VRS a couple of years back and I bought the wrong bearing. I did not send it back. Just looked on shelf and there it is with the correct part number for mine. Lucky me.
  2. I wondered why wheel bearings kept popping up on the search. Ive a wheel bearing removal kit so will order new bearing. Thanks for your swift reply Pete
  3. Hi all, I have a Fabia 1.2 60bhp and ABS light is on. Diagnostic say front left ABS sensor so I replaced but warning still on. I think its the ABS ring but i am struggleing to find part number. Can anyone help me please. Reg YF08 HGO Thank you
  4. Can anyone recommend key fob replacement in Salford, Manchester area. My father just bought mk3 Fabia and only came with one key. He wants a spare. Thanks
  5. 894 written off. I've just bought the engine with 63k on it
  6. That's perfect, I can now wrap this little project up. Many Thanks
  7. Hi all I've just acquired a set of xenon's to replace my halogens on my mk1 Vrs and was hoping for another member who has these factory fitted to show me where the ballast on the drivers side is fixed. Passenger side is ok as it fits to back of headlight itself but the drivers side has no room so don't no where it should go. Thanks in advance.
  8. Air bag to difficult and I was going to change the heated pads but the leather and cloth seats use different pads so I give in.
  9. A one owner with that mileage will only start to rise in price. my opinion, keep it and see what happens with the prices.
  10. From what I read VRSs are only going to go up in value. Even more with an SE version so keep it and look after it. Most probably have yourself a sound investment.
  11. Looks like 253 is being broken because I just bought the leather seats from a chap in Leicester and brought them back to Manchester to fit in my cloth seat vrs. Wont be happening now due to mine having airbags and heated seats. The leather have neither so gonna give them a clean and get them back up for sale. Ouch
  12. Looks like part of a bungee strap. Doesn't look like a Skoda part......hopefuly
  13. Looks like ive sorted it. Went back over the work with the EGR clean and followed the vacc pipes. Found a junction pipe split on all three connections so taped up and connected VAG comm and it cleared. Keep getting the glow plug Nr2 appearing even tho I replaced them all buts thats for another day
  14. I wish it could be a case of just changing the sensor but it wont be the case. Already repaired a break in a wires for the fuel temp sensor and nr 2 glow plug. Multimeter never been used so much latley. On the verge of buying a new engine loom but see how goes first. Ill keep the thread updated
  15. Hi all, I've just joined and need some help. Hopefully I can return the favour in future. I've just bought myself a Fabia Vrs. At times it felt like it had no turbo so decided to take the EGR of and clean. It needed it, it was really clogged up. I took it on a 100 mile run and it drove perfect so job sorted I thought. Got home and my son asks for a lift. 500 yards down the road I stopped at a junction. When I set off the engine light came on. Once home i linked to VAG and it shown two codes. P3130 EGR system Regulation range exceeded and P1592 Altitude sensor/ boost pressure sensor implausible correlation. I deleted the codes but the P1592 is staying on. The car is driving fine still with no power loss.
