  1. My mechanic said whoever designed those light housings needs shot. Pain in the arse to change
  2. I think I bought it on eBay. I had to trim a bit on the bottom corners to fit but it ended up okay
  3. Protective film for the 9.2 touch screen to almost eliminate finger smudges
  4. Loving my 2.0TSI 220 & it really flies down the road with the running box I fitted. Planning a proper stage one soon & would like to get a little more noise out of it under full throttle loads. What would be the cheapest way? I've already bought a bigger turbo elbow, turbo muffler delete (not fitted) & a Ram air panel filter. However, without replacing the entire exhaust I was thinking about fitting an aftermarket high flow downpipe. Open to suggestions
  5. No. That's stock ride height for sportline. I don't want to mess any more with the factory geometry. Fitted a fat (25mm) rear ARB & planning some KONI dampers sometime but springs getting left alone
  6. Bimec black hub centrics. 15 & 12mm. £130 I think it was
  7. What are your thoughts on the mod so far? Have you had it out a run?
  8. Taking a bolt out of bottom of transmission & subframe & put another in through the mount to the correct torque
  9. Bought 2 by mistake. The spare is up on eBay if anyone interested
  10. I bought this cheap mod (£73) & just had it fitted yesterday whilst in for a DSG service. Biggest improvement I thought was to steering feel. It really has seemed to tighten everything up to feeling more old BMW than old Volvo. Gear shifts are a lot better / faster feeling too eliminating all the slop. Negligible amounts of extra vibration at idle too only really being noticeable with AC running. Serious value for money mod in my opinion
  11. So, just fitted yesterday. Biggest positive outcome is the chassis & steering feeling tighter & more responsive. Reduction in drivetrain slop too is also very welcome. Also very little extra vibration (more with AC unit running). I was expecting it to be worse & so if it only improves after bedding in for a few hundred miles, I'm happy!
  12. I've just ordered the APR stainless steel one. A bit dearer, but less chance of bending out of shape like the alloy ones
