Looking good. Re: the wheels, the more I see them the less 'questionable' I find them. Intersted in what you feel after trying it with and without 'in the metal' Yogi?

YMMV but the branch that was unlucky enough to have to deal with my mess said they weren't allowed to do anything with the contaminated tyres as firm's policy. It was one of the big chains, but I'm afraid I can't remember which now. I'm not suggesting they can't be cleaned obviously.

I was told by tyre company that once emergency gunk squirted into a tyre then repair would not be possible and the tyre would be a write off regardless of how bad the puncture was. Might also be a factor?

Having gone through a broker for a mid-August order I'm braced for waiting until next summer for delivery. No one on the supply side has said that yet. Broker was previously suggesting probably Feb/March, but that was before the shut down until the end of this year. March + 10 weeks = ? Clearly not great for a non-premium luxury car, but what are you going to do?

I'd be quite surprised if anyone who'd actually had to previously use an emergency tyre repair kit (aka squirty cream) would think it's OK not to have a spare wheel. YMMV.

There's also the pano-roof question. Personally I dislike them and you can have a VRS without, but it's mandatory on the L&K.

Is there any evidence that they're actually finishing any cars, or is the whole thing stalled now the runways are full? I have a bad feeling about this...

Thank you for confirming. You had two faulty levers then? Who'd have thunk it...? Is the level a part common across VAG I wonder? Certainly looks it from what I can recall.

I was asking because on previous cars I've seen auto wipers behave oddly if there something affecting the associated sensor behind the windscreen. Never as described by the OP to be fair, but odd none the less.

Do I undersatand you correctly, in that changing the windscreen solved it?

I ordered via a broker in the UK a week ago. Had a call today advising delivery was now expected to be March next year.
