It don’t cause issues with the storage bin as the gap is big enough for the wire to pass through easily. The cable is run down through the a pillar trim then behind the dashboard. It’s a MagSafe charger that I brought off Amazon and a ball mount that is stuck on to the dashboard.

So 1 person not wanting a wireless charger at all makes the wireless charger not being able to be unplugged a problem? your version seems a good alternative for a cheaper price but I don’t agree with not being able to turn it off being a problem. I personally just use a mag safe mount next to my steering wheel and I spend a lot of time in my car and I’ve never wanted to unplug my charger and couldn’t you just put your phone face down if you don’t want it to charge?

Neither is making out something is a issue when it’s not 🤷‍♂️ Skodamk4 suggests that not being able to turn it off is a problem when it is not. Can’t see why you’d want/need to turn the charger off.

Why is not being able to turn it off a issue?

I also have the sos issue and a workaround I found was if you put the privacy settings to maximum privacy it stops it happening.

Did they change just the rear unit?

Mine seamed to be completely random but once it started the only way to stop it was to press the unit or the light switch in the front several times till it stayed off. Would even do it when parked and locked. I don’t know if I should cancel my appointment now as knowing my luck it’ll come back as soon as I do 😂

I unplugged my light unit a few weeks ago because it was annoying me. Phoned Skoda last week to book in to have it looked at, so I plugged it back in last weekend to get a video of the issue and since then, it hasn’t happened. Probably done about 15 hours driving since.

Did they replace the light or do a update?

Yeah, seams stupid not to give you the option when it’s clearly built into the software 🤷‍♂️

Just shown up in OBDeleven apps so have turned it on to selectable and now it shows up on my settings screen

I’ve just ordered a OBDeleven so hopefully I can work out how to do it when it comes 🤞

Is it possible? I can’t find a setting to turn off the auto door lock when driving?

I’ve noticed a few times the my back seat lights are turning themselves on and off slowly? Anyone else have this issue?

Because I use it as a taxi and people in the back hardly ever put there seatbelts on.

Has anyone managed to turn off the seatbelt chime?

Has anyone done it? I’ve read differ things about the new octavia not being able to adjust settings like the older cars?
