I don't know man, but I can tell you what i will do next month if there will be no info till then. So after 6 months waiting, I will demand answers. Dealer don't have them? Ok, fine, demand answers from importer and so on. This is the least we can do, to demand some explanation. I would understand if everyone was waiting similar amount of time, but not this. There must be some fu**ing explanation. Don't know is not good enough anymore after so much time.

I understand, but I'm just a poor boy with big eyes 🤤, who never had any of these technical thingys (not even car play), that got a chance to order a new company car, so of course I desired as much as possible. 🙂 I didn't know the real price will be the delivery time, that will be payed with interests. 😭

You also probably get it faster, because you have less "bells and whistles". So a double win for you...

I don't think this is plausible. I ordered the car last week of August so it couldn't have been produced yet. No info to date.

That is strange. I had a feeling till now, that the IVs are the priority.

I like to pretend I ordered a Toyota, Kia or Hyundai (they still have chips) and that the car is already here...

There is nothing to follow. If there was, your dealer would provide that information. Even they have nothing to follow.

It is strange you don't believe it. You ordered the car in April (Slovenia). You are waiting 9 months already with zero info. 🙂 Everything in this world is about money. If you don't produce alot of cars, you sell the ones with higher margin. The only problem is, they won't admit this, because one day "semiconductur crisis" will be over and they will once again care about your order. This is the only logical explanation I can find. Also additional options make a difference, but again more for eastern europe, because other people order cameras, cantons, side assists, DSGs... and still get the car in 4 - 6 months. The only other problem for us could be transportation, but someone in Slovenia got their Kamiq in less then 5 months, so I guess this theory is out the window.

He is from Hungary and I agree with him. They just don't care about us. It is strange, that we both ordered a TDI DSG, so again maybe they discriminate against diesel engines.

It would be still be fast either way. Now it is just super fast. 😁

Yes, maybe they are waiting for my car to be built (Ordered in August) so the truck will be full. Wishful thinking.

I sent a mail to the dealer. Nothing new, no dates. Waiting from August and not even a "fake" date. Nothing. ;(

I don't know man, I know nothing, but no bliss here. There is a pound of sadness, a tablespoon of anger and a pinch of hope. Few more spoons of anger and then a cup of rage get's in leading to hurling the pot.

I feel you. I ordered Octavia end of August. I still have no info. I don't understand how some people get at least some info when they order and so on. Not only that, many people that order after me/you are getting their cars already, whiIe we are in the dark. Really feel like an idiot here. Don't get me wrong, I am happy for people that receive their cars, but not having any info why/how is troubling. First I thought, ok, maybe people with Kamiqs are lucky somehow and Octavias are more in demand, but then here you are. What do you mean by "next big delivery"? This is a thing? Is this info from the dealer?

I have nothing yet, so this is just a false hope. I will ask next week the dealer if there are any changes to my order. Won't hold my breath tho.

I still have a little hope that mine (ordered August) will be on the same truck to Slovenia as yours.
