  1. This was the second greek guy on this forum, who had to pay more money. I guess greek dealers see an opportunity to earn something extra. I am sure this money does not go to Skoda.
  2. I know, still some aren't and it is not like they have a stock of ECUs for a year in russia, that has to be exported. They will just change the order priority for the ones they need now to be delivered in CZ?
  3. I don't get it at all what the problem is now. Octavias should be flying of the production line. They stopped Enyaq production, they wont make/sell cars in Russia (90k per year), they wont make/sell cars in Ukraine (6k per year), they expect problems also with Scala and Kamiq. So they should have chips in abundance. So the only problem now are door panels? Are they producing anything at all? They will sell only Kodiaqs, Superbs and Fabias? Let us not forget that Octavia is the flagship (200k per year). This company is sinking.
  4. Is it true that you had to stop production of the ENYAQ iV? Yes. Due to the current situation in Ukraine, ŠKODA AUTO is facing critical supply shortages of parts from several local suppliers that has effect on some of our models. This is the reason why we had to stop production of the ENYAQ iV from this Thursday (3.3.2022) on. To resolve this situation, our experts work hard finding available alternatives to help prevent adverse production impacts. Are other models besides the ENYAQ at risk? Production of the SCALA and KAMIQ models are also at risk due to the unavailability of wiring harnesses. More here: https://www.skoda-storyboard.com/en/press-releases/faq-russia-ukraine/
  5. Via their network? What does this mean?
  6. No, we are meaningless to them. There is no line here, this is already clear by now. There is no customer service. If you don't like it, **** off. They know we won't cancel after waiting so long to go into another line and pay more, so why not keep us waiting some more and keep newer and bigger customers happy, who are paying more. Simple...
  7. There are many new Octavias on the streets here in Slovenia, especially police ones, so someone is getting cars, just not us. Our business is just not important to them. We can acquire a PhD in why we are not getting them, but it boils down to one simple fact and you probably already know what that is.
  8. I don't know, I was to angry to ask. Will ask next week.
  9. I also use the car for personal use.
  10. Yea, I just read, that Ukraine exports around 50% of neon that is used in chip production and that these companies closed. Nice, probably 2 year wait for the car now.
  11. https://www.reuters.com/business/autos-transportation/vws-skoda-limits-some-output-due-ukraine-production-russia-still-running-2022-03-01/ https://europe.autonews.com/automakers/skoda-cuts-output-enyaq-electric-suv-due-ukraine-crisis It says only Enyaq is affected by Ukraine situation, so dealers again just grasping for straws with excuses. If anything, this should mean more chips for cars in EU, because currently they are not selling to Ukraine and they will probably stop production in Russia if they haven't already. EDIT: https://english.radio.cz/skoda-auto-stopping-all-its-activities-russia-over-invasion-8743706#:~:text=The car maker Skoda Auto, exporting cars to the country. Skoda production is stopped in Russia.
  12. In Slovenia there is only one Octavia Hatch DSG on stock, which is electric and I don't want that. It is also very expensive.
  13. There is no Skoda stock, at least not in this price range. Company policy does not allow other brands, so I am going to wait and keep complaining anywhere I can.
  14. Useless police again creating more problems than solutions for honest people of Slovenia. Why don't they go back on foot writing fines to people eating on the street, like idiots they are. But no, they get rewarded with new cars with our money.
  15. Maybe they ran out of common sense? If I ordered end of August and coworker ordered end of October, that shouldn't happen.
  16. I have those too. So does my coworker, who already has the car.
  17. No. I asked him multiple times, if I can remove something to get the car faster and he said no, that it doesn't matter.
  18. I can tell you my coworkers car, which was made in less than 4 months was ordered with higher price (end of october). Does this confirm your theory? No. Does it make it plausible. Yes.
  19. This was a thing even before the whole door panel fiasco.
  20. The Ukraine situation is just another excuse. If anything, this should have positive impact on delays, at least for already built cars waiting for parts, as now they do not need to alocate additional parts (chips) for Ukraine and Russia. All Skoda says is just marketing jibber-jabber and you don't have to be very clever to know that.
  21. Simple, because they are, which is known from many examples on this forum, but let us go with my personal experience, where I have all info. My car is in "line" from end of August. My cooworkers car, ordered end of October, is in the garage below me. He has same extras I have ordered and some others (his is wagon). He is driving the car and I am reading comments on this forum like an idiot. That is why.
  22. These two statements are blatant lies!
  23. My friend ordered 2 months after me (I ordered end of August like you). He is already driving the car, so....
  24. I think they don't like making hatchbacks anymore. My coworker who ordered two months after me, got an estate in less then 5 months. I am also waiting since August, no info.
