  1. You can do whatever you want to the car, that doesn't exist. Base price stays the same, you only pay for additional packages/options. They are not much more expensive, base price of the car is where the price is going crazy.
  2. I keep ordering additional options. Maybe deep down I know I will never see this car. I added windshield heater, heated seats, heated steering, soudproof side windows, electronic side lock. I almost added matrix lights, but I know they are a big issue. Maybe in a few months I will add them.
  3. I guess he is not lying. 80 weeks is still at least 44 weeks.
  4. This is Skoda. Everything is possible. Skoda, Simply Delayed™...
  5. Yea, lucky guy.
  6. You can clearly see some are different color if you zoom in.
  7. I guess you didn't read earlier posts, where multiple people ordered cars much, much later than you and are already driving them (even in Slovenia). Cancelling orders is exactly what Skoda wants and this is why they are doing this to us. You will create more trouble for Skoda, if you tell all your friends about your experience and write to all the forums and review sites.
  8. Where are you getting this info from?
  9. Why only RS models?
  10. Same here brother. Just warn everyone you can, anywhere you can.
  11. Exactly that is my point. Whatever they say, it is all nonsense. I had many friends, that wanted to buy Skoda. After my warning, they all went into another direction. Some already have cars now, so at least I saved them from this agony.
  12. Dude, don't believe anything they say. It is all nonsense. My dealer said he hopes that in next three months things will get better, because they are now finally getting wiring harnesses, whatever that means.
  13. I don't know. He said to the dealer that he wants a diesel and that he is not picky about additional equipment. Dealer said, that there is one diesel and one hybrid currently in production, so he changed his mind and ordered the hybrid. He will also pay more, than someone who ordered a year ago. I believe at this point we all know why we are waiting like idiots.
  14. My friend told me, that beacuse prices are higher in western europe, we get less cars in the east. For example, if 10 cars are made, 8 go to the west and 2 to the east. He knows a guy who works at Skoda. This is not good news for us. Normally, he should be getting a Skoda PHEV in June, because he ordered one (this month), that was already in production.
  15. We have the same dealer. He doesn't have a clue how this is possible and starts complaining, that he ordered his car last spring (understandable) and adds that the whole team is bewildered. When there is no information about what is going on, imagination is rampant. Whose fault is that? Skoda, .
  16. I don't know, maybe, but this car had many options and it was plain white (company policy). So I doubt this a little bit and if someone canceled the order before being built, why not put all these options to an order that is waiting longer. I know many other manufacturers have similar problems, but Skoda is the only one who failed this miserably. I was optimistic once, but then semiconductur crisis got worse, the fire happened, now war and chip crisis is getting worse, not better. I just wanted to drive a new car before WW3 and it is not looking good. So **** Skoda.
  17. I don't know if it is luck or just the fact he ordered 2 months later for a higher price. There must be a reason for Skoda reporting this: "Mladá Boleslav, 22 March 2022 – ŠKODA AUTO increased its earnings in the past fiscal year compared to 2020 despite the pandemic and the shortage of semiconductors." Us getting our cars is their last priority, that I am sure of. Keep in mind I know of one more case, where our partner got the car in roughly the same time frame as my coworker and it is an Octavia PHEV. He is satisfied, no problems so far.
  18. Here as well + reverse cam. But my coworker got all that in less than 5 months (- reverse camera).
  19. Yea, it is getting worse even for other models. Someone said he ordered Kodiaq in May 21, expected delivery Sep 22. You can only imagine what this means for Octavia. Currently it looks like noone is getting their cars anytime soon. 😞
  20. I guess we will all be rewarded for waiting this long with higher prices or with going back to the line. I think this proves my theory, that people who ordered the car with lower price are getting skipped. That is why my coworker already has the car, cause he paid more. Translated clip from a Czech article 2 days ago: As car manufacturers and their suppliers do not have the necessary parts and components, Russian aggression in Ukraine is gradually beginning to affect Czech customers waiting for new cars. According to Martin Feller, sales director at Louda Auto, the carmakers are announcing a further extension of the delivery times of new cars. "Even those that have been ordered and entered in production for some time. In addition, the number of models with a current delivery time exceeding 12 months is constantly increasing, ”says Feller. David Prostý, director of fleet sales at the Havex dealership, also confirms that the situation is likely to worsen. It is almost certain that the price of cars will jump again. According to Prostý, cars that are already in production could also become more expensive, and they will be delivered to customers at a different price than when they ordered them. "If importers decide to take such a step, it is a one-sided step, there is no room for discussion. Customers react displeased, but they can choose whether to accept the price increase or not take the vehicle, "says Prostý. But that puts customers in a difficult position. If they refused to raise prices, they would move to the end of the line while waiting for a new car, and if they saw the car at all in a few months, there was a real risk that they would pay even more for it. According to Prostý, the most problematic cars are the ones with the highest equipment, such as the Superb or Kodiaq from Škoda Auto. Octavia is still one of the unfortunate record holders in the waiting period. The company will soon be joined by the aforementioned electric Enyaq, for which most car showrooms are now accepting orders for the third quarter of the year.q
  21. WTF? You must be trolling...
  22. WE can only rely on info from dealers, which know **** all.
  23. https://www.marnet-mobility.de/aktuelle-lieferzeiten.html I am sure nowhere else is this bad. Run man, just RUN... It would be much better if you had this information before, but here we are. 😞
  24. Yes, it is strange that from many posts on this topis, only Greeks have to pay more. I even asked my dealer, if I add something to the configuration, does the price of the initial order stay the same and I get charged only for the added options. He said yes.
