  1. I've replaced mine , I too ended up destroying the old one . But the new one clips in and all working well.
  2. I've just bought a new one of these as mine appears not to be working, hope the screwdriver trick works for me tomorrow. Will let you know
  3. I've checked all my tyres .all inflated to the correct pressure . The reader I borrowed off a friend. It's an auto link al519 reader . Quite an expensive one . It's not happened since Sunday , just frustrating when it does
  4. I have driven it around today waiting for it to die on me , it eventually did . So I pulled over plugged in my reader . And it saying no fault detected . So I turned the ignition off , started the car again and it's driven fine since then . I'm lost ha ha
  5. Hello , I have a Skoda Fabia skout 1.4 TDI 80 bph. 2009 . Recently while driving . The traction control light comes on and the coil light starts flashing . I have loss of power , engine is still on , but I have nothing if I press the accelerator. If I turn the engine off . And restart the car . It's normal and I can drive away as normal . Anyone any idea ?
  6. I've just used some stp oil flush . New filters, fresh oil . Let's just see . Skoda Fabia skout 1.4 diesel.
  7. Mine does exactly the same . Works perfectly most of the time , then goes down okay but clicks on the way back up . If I do it on the key in the door it goes up and down perfectly so cannot be the motor . Just frustrating when you pay or parking or a drive through. And stuck with it down . Skoda Fabia scout 2009 .
  8. It's my first diesel car , do I'm over the moon with my mpg anyway . I realise the dash read out is not always accurate. Thank you for your reply
  9. I had both Tony tyres replaced . Oil filter fuel filter and air filter all replaced . All readings off the dash. I've reset them to zero . Just seems strange how it's dropped by that much.
  10. I have had my Skoda fabia 1 .4 TDI for 12 months now . Had a new mot and service done recently but I've noticed I'm only getting max 48 mpg around town . When I bought it I was getting easily 55 mpg . Any ideas anyone ?
