  1. Hi thanks for the info, yes it may well be amplifier because I ordered an upgraded sound system when I bought the car. Having looked again at the other threads it does state that the connector should be on the L/H side even in R/H drive, also that you have to cut the carpet to find it (what a stupid place to put something that is affected by moisture) in the foot well ! Thanks again. D4KGP.
  2. Hi I've seen other comments on this subject (seats staying on when ignition off) stating that there is a control/connector in the pass floor well that can play up if it is subjected to water ingress. I looked under the pass seat in mine yesterday and all that I could see was quite a large aluminium finned unit under a vented plastic cover, but it does not look like the small plastic connector I saw on parts sales sites. Any idea what this unit is?? Help and advice would be gratefully received. Regards D4KGP.
  3. Hi again. So how would you go about doing that and to be able to use the 3 temperature settings? I can't even figure out how to remove the facia area where the switches are positioned 😕 that's why I haven't done anything about so far. Good luck with it and please keep me posted on your progress. Regards D4KGP.
  4. Hi, no I never did so I think it will have to go to the dealer to get sorted and for my wallet to be robbed.
  5. Hi andrehj, so have you any idea how to remove the AC/Ventilation panel? Regards D4KGP.
  6. Hi andrehj, thanks for your reply. I will have a look at it on a warmer day, the offending seat is drawing 13.2 v even with the ignition off so I removed the fuse. Again thanks for your reply. Regards. D4KGP.
  7. Hi as I had no replies to my previous question regarding heated seats, does anyone know how to remove the switch for heated seat from the dash?
  8. Today my drivers heated seat came on without being switched on, stayed on after ignition switched off so removed the fuse. Any ideas on this one??
  9. Hi aero-hot, thanks for the info I'll have a look at those. Where did you purchase them from? Regards. D4KGP.
  10. Thanks for your input but I have ordered and paid for two new ones from my local dealer.
  11. Thanks again, I'll call dealer tomorrow.
  12. Hi varooom the link you sent works and shows the part number as being correct. Thanks very much for your help. Regards. D4KGP
