  1. Hi and thank you for the info, I'll have a look and dig around a bit.
  2. Hi and thanks for your interest in this, I have been told that on my model this item may well be under the carpet on the near side (UK MODEL) passenger seat. So can you tell me where your unit was placed and did you have to cut the carpet to fit it? Many thanks D4KGP.
  3. Hi there used to be some come in on the (UK) passenger side when the sun roof drain was blocked.
  4. Hi I believe its a 1.9 TDI, but I don't know the mileage. This is something I will add when I have that info from my Son who's car it is. Regards.
  5. I believe its in the region of £400, not really sure as its not my car and my Son is at work. As I said earlier I will get back to you when I have more info. Regards.
  6. My Superb driver heated seat in permanently on so I've had to remove the fuse, so how do I put this right? The passenger seat operates normally. Any help or advice would be gratefully received. Thanks.
  7. Hi thanks for your interest in this problem. I'm not totally sure in answer to your questions, but I will ask him and get back to you. thanks again.
  8. My Sons Octavia has gone into limp mode, dealer says its the oil temp sensor that's caused it, can this be right?
  9. Hi thanks for the info, yes it may well be amplifier because I ordered an upgraded sound system when I bought the car. Having looked again at the other threads it does state that the connector should be on the L/H side even in R/H drive, also that you have to cut the carpet to find it (what a stupid place to put something that is affected by moisture) in the foot well ! Thanks again. D4KGP.
  10. Hi I've seen other comments on this subject (seats staying on when ignition off) stating that there is a control/connector in the pass floor well that can play up if it is subjected to water ingress. I looked under the pass seat in mine yesterday and all that I could see was quite a large aluminium finned unit under a vented plastic cover, but it does not look like the small plastic connector I saw on parts sales sites. Any idea what this unit is?? Help and advice would be gratefully received. Regards D4KGP.
  11. Hi again. So how would you go about doing that and to be able to use the 3 temperature settings? I can't even figure out how to remove the facia area where the switches are positioned 😕 that's why I haven't done anything about so far. Good luck with it and please keep me posted on your progress. Regards D4KGP.
  12. Hi, no I never did so I think it will have to go to the dealer to get sorted and for my wallet to be robbed.
  13. Hi andrehj, so have you any idea how to remove the AC/Ventilation panel? Regards D4KGP.
  14. Hi andrehj, thanks for your reply. I will have a look at it on a warmer day, the offending seat is drawing 13.2 v even with the ignition off so I removed the fuse. Again thanks for your reply. Regards. D4KGP.
  15. Hi as I had no replies to my previous question regarding heated seats, does anyone know how to remove the switch for heated seat from the dash?
