My 2008/9 Superb heated seat.
Hi and thanks for your interest in this, I have been told that on my model this item may well be under the carpet on the near side (UK MODEL) passenger seat. So can you tell me where your unit was placed and did you have to cut the carpet to fit it? Many thanks D4KGP.

Heated front seats.
Hi thanks for the info, yes it may well be amplifier because I ordered an upgraded sound system when I bought the car. Having looked again at the other threads it does state that the connector should be on the L/H side even in R/H drive, also that you have to cut the carpet to find it (what a stupid place to put something that is affected by moisture) in the foot well ! Thanks again. D4KGP.

Heated front seats.
Hi I've seen other comments on this subject (seats staying on when ignition off) stating that there is a control/connector in the pass floor well that can play up if it is subjected to water ingress. I looked under the pass seat in mine yesterday and all that I could see was quite a large aluminium finned unit under a vented plastic cover, but it does not look like the small plastic connector I saw on parts sales sites. Any idea what this unit is?? Help and advice would be gratefully received. Regards D4KGP.

Heated front seats.
Hi again. So how would you go about doing that and to be able to use the 3 temperature settings? I can't even figure out how to remove the facia area where the switches are positioned 😕 that's why I haven't done anything about so far. Good luck with it and please keep me posted on your progress. Regards D4KGP.

Front switch for heated seat.
Hi andrehj, thanks for your reply. I will have a look at it on a warmer day, the offending seat is drawing 13.2 v even with the ignition off so I removed the fuse. Again thanks for your reply. Regards. D4KGP.

A frame securing clips.
Hi varooom thanks for your reply, I've typed in the part number for the highlighted clip but it always comes back as number unknown. It looks like the correct clip, I'll just have to ring my local dealer to see if they can shed any light on it. Once again thanks. Regards D4KGP.

A frame securing clips.
Hi, well I think its called the A frame that runs from the roof lining down by the side of the windscreen. I had to remove this when I had a go at the water leak from the sunroof drain pipes (hopefully that's fixed now) but on trying to reattach it the two metal clips broke and are lost in voids! So does anyone here know what the part numbers of the clips might be? Many thanks. Regards D4KGP.
