  1. Congrats! I’m with you on all points, that’s how we got our (now sold) Octavia three years ago. I wonder if I can upgrade the suspension to be more DCC-sport-like
  2. Nothing spectacular, but better than the driveway…
  3. So, it ended up being beginning of July, 7/7/23 to be specific. And, it didn’t start too well, with a 56 km extra test drive on the meter (as indicated by a note in the globe compartment) and still a faulty battery coolant pump… now replaced. I had a VRS coupe as a loaner in the mean time, so I shall not complain too much. Seats are a bit of a disappointment - I’m too tall and wide shouldered to fit them well. Colour is nice, much better than anticipated.
  4. Posting a picture of the beauty, on public request. 😊😉
  5. 14 months - May 22 to July 23 Pix when I find a good backdrop 😉
  6. It’s finally here! And of course I would’ve chosen differently today. Today I would select the adjustable suspension, the eco suite interior, and the Canton sound over sportline trim. 4wd stays tho, harsch winters around here. Will post in Enyaq owners register tomorrow
  7. I just heard from the dealer I have a production date planned for W22 - so with any luck I have a new EV by end of June. Yay!
  8. Nice. Same color and trim as the 80x I ordered in May last year. I hear the 4wd take extra time… 😬
  9. Word from the dealer that the cars he ordered October/November are now up for production this summer. Extrapolating this to my order date early may could put me up for delivery before end of 2022.
  10. Hello all, I want to know if there is a way to remove/replace the lower grill without removing the entire front bumper. The workshop who fitted auxiliary headlights/LED-ramp didn’t do a particularly impressive job. Unfortunately I think the complaints period has passed. I have a new part to be fitted - can I manage it myself youthinks?
  11. No solid estimate at all. October this year would have been the estimate before the cable harness related production stop, but now nobody seems to know. December -22? March -23?
  12. My current ride (since March 2020) Display car, fully loaded: - black pearl metallic - nav - digital instruments - acc (bliss!) - lane assist - headlight assist (sometimes not too well performing) - panoramic sunroof - light tan interior - tow bar - canton sound - 19-inch rims - standard suspension Not too happy with the ride quality, the combination of the 19-inch rims and the soft anti-roll bar is rather uninspiring...
  13. Since I have now put in the order, I guess I shall post here as well: Sportline 80X (need 4WD for countryside roads in Swedish winter) Arctic Silver Comfort Seat Basic (electric left seat, no massage) Convenience Plus (power rear hatch and keyless go) Crystal Grille Family basic (sunshades in the rear seat) Extra airbags (front center and rear side) Panoramic sunroof Foldable tow-bar Heat-pump, nav system, travel assist etc. are standard to Sportline, so not mentioned extra I was yearning for (but had to skip in order to get below incentive-limit): - Canton sound (I guess I can have a sub-woofer added if needed) - DCC (but hoping the sportline with 20-inch rims is the optimal ride compromise between handling and comfort 🙃 - HUD (Cool stuff, but hardly essential) - Velvet Red metallic (but then I would get above the (not yet decided) incentive limit (EDIT: added this line) Never even considered: - 360 view (rear cam is enough) - Climate plus (OK, maybe I considered this a little) Now, let's see if it ever gets delivered.
  14. I have an Octavia with electric seats and lumbar support, but I feel like I'm sitting in a hammock... OTOH, I am fairly tall and have a disproportionately tall upper body (short legs) and am recovering from a herniated disk from last year.
  15. 🤷‍♂️ I hear EVs are quite popular in Norway, and have been for quite a while so the national quota may be spent faster, hence longer wait. Higher demand quite simply.
  16. I also wanted to avoid the black lower door, but on the other hand all trim and the entire interior is black - really dull. I guess the main reason for going with the sportline was the seats, which arguably have better side support, while lumbar support is as crappy as in any other VAG vehicle I'm afraid. In the current Octavia III I need an auxiliary lumbar support not to go mad. So, it seems we have basically ordered the same config - let's see who gets it first
  17. Looks better than the alternative at least. I'm not really convinced it is worth the money. I haven't even got a preliminary date yet, other than that it should surely be delivered by December 2023...
  18. I ended up getting the sportline with sunroof and crystal grille. I shall post delivery estimate when I get it.
  19. I guess it comes down to - Loft without sunroof but with DCC vs Sportline with sunroof but without DCC
  20. Update: Now looking at a Sportline 80X- Firmer ride (is this needed? I tried a sportline on a nice curvy road and was rather impressed, but didn’t try standard suspension on same road. ) Fancier seats, but black as a coalmine inside, so adding the sunroof, skipping the DCC, reducing to family basic (no tray tables), letting go of the Canton, audio reducing to comfort seat basic and adding the crystal grille All this in order to go below 700kSEK which is a proposed upcoming limit to the government incentive. DCC and standard 80x as an alternative? @Espen - you suggested Lodge interior over EcoSuite, but yourself went with sportline?
  21. Re 15 months delivery time in UK, can that possibly be related to right hand steer? My dealer says official delay for Sweden is 6 months, but also nobody knows for sure so another 3 months could be closer to the truth
  22. The situation is more complex than I initially revealed. I managed to sign a contract for an Octavia iV which is ”in store”, (=prompt delivery) but since I drive a few 250 km stretches per month I wanted to go full electric and cancel the Octavia. However, the price tag diff is 75% higher for the Enyaq, which may buy me loads of petrol… OTOH - I did also consider going for a barebone 60, barely more costly than the Octavia iV Oh, and I forgot - Arctic White 😉😎
  23. Hello, Posted my first post in the Enyaq forum just minutes ago, regarding specs on my to-be-ordered Enyaq. Live in Sweden, drives an Octavia since two years, about to move out into the countryside. /Johan
  24. Hello all - long time lurcher, first post... My finger is hovering about the order button ... 😃 Specs: Enyaq 80x 82 kWh 265 HP 4x4 Retractable Tow bar Center airbag Sound system CANTON Comfort seat Plus Convenience Plus Drive Sport Plus Tan leather interior Family Plus Powerpass 0 kr Prepared forCare Connect + Infotainment Online 3years The price is .... a bit high 😬 My must haves are really ACC and the LED-Matrix headlights. I guess I want the 4x4 for living in countryside and for higher allowed towing weight. Skipping the panoramic sunroof (have on current Octavia) and the HUD (nice but hardly essential) I could skip the Drive sport/DCC chassis, possibly lose the Canton speakers as well, reduce to family basic (blinds in back seat for the kiddo) , comfort seat basic, convenience basic (is that including the motorized tailgate?) and move back to the bright alcantara interior (Lodge?) but I feel the cost savings will be small Am I posting in the wrong channel - should it be in the 'About to buy a Skoda'- channel?
