yeah its a right pain in the **** if you want to change the battery you have to run another battery to the terminals as you swap out the old one for the new one, kind of like jumping it!

When fitting my sound system to my 96 felicia I removed the possitive terminal on the battery by accident. anyway this created a problem! when i tryed to start the car it wouldn't start unless you blipped the throttle a bit. Then the car wouldn't idle it would just cut out so by keeping my foot gently on the throttle it started to revv slowly up and down.( Kangerooing.) The car was really impossible to drive. I explained my situation to the skoda dealer who told me it would cost

don't know but i had a similar problem! my lights were constantly on and by turning one light on all of them would activate. reason why? somehow water traveled under the bonnet through wityh some cables by following them and into the fusebox in the passenger side. constant heavy rain causes it to fill up! thus shorting out every electrical circuit in the car! might as well check?

well want to know how good caffyns really are? My mate pat, borrowed her mums new car (owned by her mum for a week but on a 54 plate). The car had been fully serviced by caffyns when pats mum bought the car. As we drove down a hill in dover, a mercades pulled out into the wrong lane about 60mph in a 30 zone, as Pat saw this happening she slammed on the brakes which failed. merc 60mph + astras 20 mph downhill climb = 80mph crash. The merc was a complete right off, it didnt look bad until you saw the chassis, suspention etc. Pats mum's car, a Vauxhaul Astra survived the crash only loosing its bumper, no brakes and a dent in the radiator, was drivable. best bit is the driver of the merc was saying pat wasn't indicating to turn down the side road, but when the tow truck pulled up, the astra's indicator was on when they started it up! leading from the scene of the crash up the hill a bit, was all the brake fluid from the astra where it had leaked out. I take it you mean a diesel and you are refering to the algae that grows in the tank that blocks off part of the tank. If thats the case a tiny and i mean tiny!!!! cap of petrol in the fuel can kill off the algee. IF you dont have a diesel ignore me completely lol

OMG, Why has the top spec model ( laurent and klement. ) NOT GOT POWER STEERING! Its really annoying when parking, especially people who think parking 2mm off my towbar is ok, so im boxed in! Towbars make great parking sensors, yay!

I test drove the tigra 1.8 sport. I loved it it has loads of umph, and uphill in 4th gear it acellerated really rapidly. The power steering is brilliant, but corning felt really odd! It also looks like a corsa on the inside its nasty. Although you can adujst the seat, and the steering wheel it still does'nt feel like a normal convertible.

The guy who works there is brilliant and can get almost anything, I'm going to ask him today what ones we can get. as for the speed test, yes it was performed at an offroad facility - namely an unused airport! I might be 18 but i've been on the roads since i was 15 (riding bikes), so i do have experience.

So i have decided I was gonna buy a induction kit as its cheaper too. How much performance would you say it would increase by? because the top speed is only about 105 mph or 112 down hill. what is the best induction kit to go for on this model?
